hi! I am applying to emerson this fall for next year and I, too, love fashion. I want to do PR in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle field. I'm guessing that falls under the marketing branch as a major at emerson. What do you major in? Also, any tips on the college essay?

hello! so exciting you're applying to emerson in the fall. it's been such an amazing experience so far for me and i will send good vibes your way during the application process. as for pr, that falls under the marketing department here. i'm a writing, literature, and publishing major, but i am minoring in journalism and marketing so i've kind of been all over the place during my career here. as for your college essay, my advice is to just be yourself, and write something that might not be conventional. the worst thing you can do is write a boring essay, and the my suggestion is to catch admissions eye. hope this helps!

congrats on getting into fordham...i found your post via the fordham tag. it is my dream schoooool and i'm a junior so i'm about to go through the whole application process. if you don't mind my asking, what was your GPA and did you take sat subject tests?? i NEED to get in so I'm trying to get all this info !! thanks

my GPA is a 95 on the 100 scale and i took the ACTs once (24) and SATs twice (1920 highscore) thanks:)
