A Gintama episode a day keeps the ending away...Episode 53

MY 9 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN EPISODE 53 (manga chaps 21 and 22):

1) The moment when Gin-chan realizes he can use the fire hose in his pants to put out the fire.

2) I love that the anime team added the build up to this attack.

3) The scene on top did happen in the manga, but the anime team decided to just kick up the violence on Gintoki’s face a good notch.

4) They also made the damage to Gintoki’s beautiful face so much worse. It hurt me physically to see him like that.

5) I have a feeling the anime team felt bad about the damage they did to him in the previous scenes so that’s why he looked especially gorgeous for the rest of the episode.

6) I still love him.

7) Tatsumi’s relationship with her adoptive father was so sweet. I was so relieved he didn’t turn out to be a villain.

8) The anime team made Gin-chan look extra cool...before letting him end up the same awkward way he did in the manga.

9) See what I mean by especially gorgeous??? None of this was in the manga. Bless the anime team.

SHIPS TALLY:

Gintoki x Tatsumi: Gin-chan was rather sweet to this little bubble and I’m sure she fell in love with him the moment he came out of the burning house with her dad. Especially since he was all sexy wet.

only to later learn that tatsuma suffered unfortunate incident that forever crossed out his path as a kendo practitioner and now he’s in archery club

and him learning it when tatsuma got transferred into one of prestigious schools in same province where gintoki lives so now they get to hang out
