love frequently. love foolishly. love wholeheartedly.
fall in love at first sight and first touch and first breath. fall in love over and over again with the same people every time you see them. fall in love with the way she sticks her tongue out while she thinks and the way he squints his eyes when he’s focusing on what he reads and the way they sigh in deep contentment at every breeze that kisses their skin.
fall in love with the shape of a stranger’s hands or the curve of your best friend’s nose, the way one person bites their lip and the way another one eats their soup. fall in love with the ugly of someone, the weird noises and awkward silences and humorless jokes.
kiss them until your teeth clack together and then kiss them again. kiss their knuckles, kiss their fingertips, kiss the divot in their wrist where it meets their palm because no one has ever kissed them there. kiss their eyelids in the hopes that when they open them again they’ll see themself the way you do.
love the way the sun kisses the land and the grass reaches toward the sky, love how the wind whispers through the trees and how the branches seem to sigh in delight. love the butterflies and the birds overhead because everyone does. love the wasps and the worms at your feet because no one does. love the little things for not being the big things. love the big things for not being the little things.
love like you’ve never loved before and never will love again even though everyone who looks at you knows you are in a constant state of falling in love and never out. love with every fiber of your being and then love even more.
there is never enough love in the world. there will always be enough love in you, so share it, be selfless and generous and love and love and love
