Cecilia’s absence had gone long enough for her. Maybe too long. Two weeks away from her family and her small amount of friends was too long and considering how Rowen was restricted from her during the entirety of her healigng made it all the worse. She had been sent immiedately to England for healing and hiding after her accident, her PR team deciding that the medi shouldn’t see her and risk calling her a crazed driver. Not that the accident was her fault, but the media was awfully good at twisting things.
Now Cecilia had done a few public appareances, answered an interview, and was posting on social media so everyone knew that she was alive and doing well. But her time away had made her realize that she had very few friends and if her family kep acting the way that they’re acting now, she was going to be alone in this world aside from having Rowen at her side. Cecilia recalled running into the Italian Prince Charming, Giovanni, in a crummy bar long ago. He seemed to be the friend type. So she sent him an invitation for lunch, making sure that it was rose-scented before he received. It was probably odd for him, but she liked the extra touch.
And now, the princess sat out at one of the patio tables, playing on her phone to pass time as she waited for his arrival. She had arrived way earlier than expected, so she didn’t mind the extra wait. Cecilia stood up out of her seat when she saw him arrive, a welcoming smile on her face. “Hi! I’m glad you could make it! Apologies if I messed up your schedule in any way.”
