Okay, so, this is for DAY 2 of the 28 Day Witchy Challenge, by cait-the-witch
(PS, I thought I saved this in queue, but it turns out I saved it in drafts, so let’s just pretend I posted this a while ago....).
🔮DAY 2 - Take the day to meditate. It can be about anything or nothing at all. Let your mind wonder and do it’s thing. Journal about it and let things come to you.
Alright, so, for Day 2 (which was actually yesterday, but I did it sort of late last night, so I forgot to post this...), I decided to meditate with then intention to speak to Thanatos, since I am hoping to invoke him for Lammas Monologues, which is an audition (and ritual usually on Lammas, duh!) for Spring Mysteries Festival, which is a festival I have been going to for the past 3 years.
Anyways, the image above is kind of my makeshift altar for Thanatos. The bottom row of crystals from left to right are labradorite, spirit quartz, unknown, smokey quartz, unknown, wrapped black tourmaline, unknown, smokey quartz, smokey quartz, spirit quartz, and amethyst (The unknown ones I used honestly because they were dark stones that I thought Thanatos would like them). Then I’ve got two crystal skulls on top, the left one is lava stone, and the one on the right is smokey quartz. In the middle is a black tourmaline angel that is my connection to Thanatos. As far as the necklaces go, the one on the right is my pendant, which I try to wear as much as possible (though it’s a bit hard when you’re a closeted witch), the one in the middle is a choker that has a triple goddess charm, and the one on the right is a necklace that has all the charms that I’ve gotten from various deities over the past three years.
So, I’m not going to go into great detail about what happened when I meditated, but I do want to talk about a couple of things. So, Thanatos has now come to me in 3 different forms. The first one, which I am most familiar with, is a sort of fancy older man in a suit (think Pierce Brosnan with jet black hair and white streaks). The second form can only be described as a dementor from Harry Potter with legs. The third, and final form, is a young man with olive skin and blue eyes (I later realized that he looked like Adam Lambert, but olive skin).
We didn’t have a long conversation, but it was just what I needed to get going with working with him.
