Now that’s it’s been 24 hours since I’ve last felt pain, I feel I can authentically share my horrible experience with food yesterday. I’m not perfect, I do my best and some days I just need all the comfort foods I can get. Have you heard of an APP called @caviar ? I ordered a bunch of Mac n Cheese and french fries for me and my kids, (from a place called Mac’d) as a hot comforting after school snack. Lately I’ve just been sending them bagels and fruit for lunch and wanted to warm them a bit. It is November after all. So not only did they love the food but I must confess................... I indulged a little more than, truth be told, was necessary. Immediately after shoveling loaded macaroni and cheese and fries into my mouth, I’d felt a painful heaviness in my upper digestive area. You know that area just under the breastbone, and above the abdomen? It was so bad I had to retreat to my bedroom once we got home, and my kids were left to themselves for a couple of hours.
