Cantonese Dessert: Deep Fried Milk
Deep Fried Milk is a traditional Cantonese dessert with simple ingredients. It is crispy, smooth and sweet.
And that’s a wrap!
Oh Cosmo how I love to draw you
I stopped drawing stuff that I considered “too edgy” for a while because I didn’t want to be cringe. Recently, I realized that I don’t give a damn and I actually wanted to draw this stuff because it was fun for me.
I personally really enjoy coming up with story beats that have an emotional impact. Though, if I let myself get too self aware, I get self conscious of them. I don’t know why, my guess is that I’ve thought them through enough times that the emotional impact wears off on me and it feels tacky.
I’ve been working on using these emotionally impactful moments to springboard the rest of the story, rather than being the only thing I put care into crafting. Having a reason for the impact makes it more believable and interesting.
Anyway, enough with the ranting, I drew my character that I like to put through hell again and it was so much fun. I just can’t get enough of him.
I redrew a ref for my character, Kasey for a secret Santa thing me and my friends are doing.
Gamers, I think I’ve improved since the beginning of summer.
Wabi-sabi Design Philosophy of Moore Chen: Build a House with Soul
Moore Chen, an interior designer from HK, apply nature elements in the space. Following his design philosophy, wabi-sabi, his space work experiences time and is added more by its users.
I made a poster! I drew this traditionally with alcohol markers, colored pencils, and paint pens. After that, I scanned it, and now I can make as many copies of it as I want!
This illustration features characters from my story that I’m tentatively calling “What Happens in the Mountains.” (Formerly known as “The Mountain | The Valley”/“TMtv”) (Formerly Formerly known as “The Gang in the Valley”/“GITV”)
I’ve yapped to death about these characters before, so I’ll spare you the explanation (for now). Though, I suppose I can announce that I am finishing the development of this story and starting to make it into a comic! I am finally at a point where I like the story, it is concise and makes sense, and I cut almost all of the filler.
This story is really close to my heart. A lot of what it focuses on is based on things that I have learned in my early adulthood. I can’t wait to share it with you all.
