Alfa Romeo Alfetta (Type 116) is a business-class sedan and fastback produced by the Italian company Alfa Romeo from 1972 to 1987.

The Alfa Romeo Alfetta GT (116) is a 3-door fastback coupe produced from 1974 to 1976 (before the GTV update). Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, it featured De Dion rear suspension, a transaxle for improved handling, and powerful engines. A total of 21,947 units were produced.

In fair Verona where we lay our scene, two rival political factions vie for power and will not heed the words of peace.

In disguise Romeo enters Capellio’s palace with two terms: give the Montecchi equal seat in Verona and marry Giulietta to Romeo. Capellio will hear none of it, for it was Romeo who slew Capellio’s son in battle, and he will not give up his last child to the same man.

There is no force on earth that can change his mind, unaware that his implacable desire for vengeance is what will see Giulietta into the same tomb as her brother, and that he will be the last one left alive to blame for the tragedy.
