I’m not talking about the now-popular youtube version of the proof, I’m actually talking about the fact that the Riemann zeta function gives us that result via analytic continuation! Not to mention that applying this zeta function regularization in quantum field theory actually results in funny things like the Casimir effect, which has been verified experimentally to considerable precision.

nope i literally just want to find the area under the curve

every time i try it gives me 'undefined function or variable x' (even tho x is defined in the integral)
