They began in late 2011 as a two piece featuring violin, banjo, and lots of yelling. The band was formed in hopes that it would inspire the radical community. The idea was that music could be fun, simple, and accessible to everyone. Moon Bandits has since released two full length records, two split 7” records, and an ep. OLD TREES https://oldtrees.bandcamp.com/ https://www.facebook.com/OldxTreesx Old Trees is a DIY folk punk band rooted in anarchist, vegan and queer feminist beliefs. They started in late 2011 in Portugal, and eventually became a nomadic collective of musicians and activists from several parts of Europe. The band started out of an inspiration to share songs of resistance while directly supporting radical communities and projects. Old Trees is for lovers, for warriors, it's a scream of rage against the capitalist patriarchal machine. Giz Medium https://busstoppress.bandcamp.com/album/waiting-for-the-fall http://busstoppress.bandcamp.com/album/ill-take-the-scenic-route punk singer/songwriter from the french riviera, who started playing solo acoustic punk late 2008 as Xtramedium which later became a band. Giz also played for some time in other diy punk bands (the copy scams, cross division and sriracha) while continuing touring solo under his name.
Did y'all know that we are touring in Europe very soon? Most the dates are already booked and we are very excited. Thing is we have never been there and don't know anyone except the folks we are touring with. It would be a great help if any of you would invite your friends to our tour page or just help us spread this around. Thanks we really appreciate it.

Cheap Toys #11
Hail Europe
