Some fun lil doodles pt. 2 (this time - digital! and in full color!)

I found this journal at a local thrift shop. Half of it is filled out, and I'm nosy, so I bought it for a quarter.

The prompts are not deep or especially thought-provoking, so I was expecting fluffy, lighthearted content. I was so wrong.

So far, I've learned that she lived in New Orleans, was a black woman, either trans or lesbian, HIV positive, worked in a gay bar that closed down around 2014 (I'm guessing), and there's a brief mention of abuse (no details). She was Gen X because she talked about watching Thundarr the Barbarian on Saturdays while eating a bowl of cereal.

Needless to say, I am intrigued and kind of saddened as I get to know this person. I can't believe this ended up in a thrift shop.
