We’re - um.
I’m more of a employee than a friend to him, I think. Sure, he trusts me with the company and all, but he has never sat down and opened up to me. It’s always been a very light relationship. I invited him to my wedding to thank him for all he’s done for me.
And as for me, If you had conveniently forgot, I’ve usually got my hands full trying to take care of the valley! You don’t expect me to also babysit Beanpole over there on top of it all, do you?
He’s a grown man, he should be able to handle himself.
The people he seems to consider friends are the other Oncelers he’s met… particularily Mr. Cold, Mr. Corvid, and Mr. Kink. He also enjoys Mr. Eternal’s company, but I haven’t seen much of him lately.
Well he’s got his own valley to look after, ya know. He’s doin his job right.
