I told myself I’d upload these when they were colored but I got too impatient lol.

But for now here are the sketches for the Familiar AU :)
It’s the brainchild of @ruiojousama and I. I wanted to write for it and she wanted to draw for it and we had a back and forth of ideas and now this is born :)
I wrote a fanfic for it, on AO3, which you can read here. Not everything is the same in the fanfic though, I can only squeeze as many headcanons as I can in there ^^
-Ravus and Gladio are both Ignis’ familiars.
-he picked them up when both were very young
- they have the option of leaving ignis but prefer to stay by his side
- Gladio is a snake eating eagle familiar
- Ravus is a snake familiar
- Ravus loves cuddles because he needs the external source of heat
- Noct is a fellow sorcerer and is Ignis’ friend. His familiar is Prompto
- Prompto is a chocobo familiar
- Ravus eats chickens. When they were children he thought that Prompto was a chicken / chocobo chick so he attempted to attack, with Gladio cheering on and Prompto close to tears. He lost a few feathers
- when they’re older, Gladio and Ravus get jealous when iggy gives his attention to Noct and does everything to keep him away
-Prompto is older and is able to defend himself
- when Ravus insults Noctis, Prompto gets agitated and tries to fight Ravus.
-ignis and Noct just want to chat in peace but well Familiars will be familiars
