Ah. This kind of thing never really sat well with the bounty hunter. There were few things he trusted less than replicas, the simulation of life and conscience. So many people were trying so hard to achieve that in the galaxy, and it always came about as a mockery. There was nothing more real to Bane than warm, real blood, and cold, real cash -- those were the kind of experiences that only someone who was alive could truly be gifted with. That being said, machinery was...useful. And if he could make use of what he found lying around, well, all the better.
“Hey, droid.”
That’s why he called out so abrasively, the grating sound of his windpipe affecting the tone of his voice. As a Duros, he sounded like he was speaking through a vocabulator at all times, and his accent didn’t entirely help. Approaching the (female-based, it seemed) machine, he prodded its shoulder lightly with a slender finger.
“Ain’t never seen a make like yours before. What company are you? Not Aratech, they’d never go for something this smooth...”
Congrats, droid. You’re getting a full-body inspection.
