‹ ⚡ › “Yeah, an’ you love gettin’ into the stuff they produce, don’cha? I know, I know. It ain’t fun dealin’ with them personally, so I see where you’re comin’ from.”
Neither mech enjoyed the company of humans in particular, but Knock Out did like what humans could do with a little free time and a lot of creativity. Perhaps if past trauma weren’t a factor, Breakdown too would be able to enjoy a good movie nowadays. With MECH’s torture in mind, however, such luxuries weren’t feasible any longer.
Patience isn’t one of Breakdown’s virtues. With his optic glued on the camera’s position, the bruiser fidgets some before Knock Out speaks again, dictating that the preparation just needs another moment. He stills his stance, focus not leaving the phone’s screen until he’s sure that the picture’s taken.
Something snaps Breakdown out of his picture-perfect focus, however. Knock Out’s audaciousness strikes in the form of a surprise kiss on the cheek. For a moment, he had forgotten that they stood at the same height and that these kinds of forms of affection were extremely doable. Optic widens in surprise just as the picture’s taken.
That sly medic.
When something astounds him, it’s only natural that he responds in aggression. He could very easily snap at Knock Out, but he knew the medic well enough not to. Audaciousness is just… part of his function. ‘Toleration’ is far too loose a term to describe how surprisingly well he takes the medic’s behavior.
‹ ⚡ › “… Well, how did it come out? Jeez, could ya surprise me any more than ya just did?”
Knock Out could feel himself glow as he looked at this selfie he’d taken of them. Now if anyone ever looked up the term ‘picture-perfect’ somewhere this was an image that could be used as a shining example. It was flawless, perfectly timed. Even the little movement Breakdown made in surprise didn’t mess up the focus of the picture itself.
“So many questions~”
The medic couldn’t help but snicker before he continued, the fact that he had succeeded really did wonders to his mood. Not to mention the fact that Breakdown didn’t retaliate in some way, shape or form.
“Well, to answer your first question, it came out perfectly, have a look-see.”
While he tilted his cellphone at an angle more suitable for his assistant’s single optic a coy smile formed on the medics faceplate, his optics shifted from side to side while he pretended to ponder over the other question. His theatrics truly shone in this moment; they always did when he felt some kind of euphoria.
“And... Well, I could surprise you more if you wanted me to, but I don’t know if you’d like the kind of surprises I’d have for you.”
Knock Out gently patted Breakdown’s cheek before locking his phone and putting it away. This was one thing off of his to-do list. Though there were many, many other things he planned. Hopefully those would go just as smoothly as this went.
