The Palestine Committee of the Muslim Brotherhood is Hamas, which the US has declared a terrorist organization since 1994. Basically, the HLF was accused of giving aid to Hamas in the form of their charities. CAIR, along with more than 200 other organizations, was a "non-indicted collaborator," meaning that they were not tried, presumably because they had enough trouble convicting HLF (mistrial the first time).

Just, one of the worst things in the world is when a relationship with someone you love and used to really respect a whole lot starts to fracture because you realize how much of a shitty person they actually are.

I was "such a smart girl" back when I was swallowing their opinions and bigotry whole and sounding like a teenaged version of them but the moment I go outside that box and form my own, I'm a troublemaker or the ditzy little girl who actually needs to learn how to do my own research instead of "swallowing everything your English professor told you."
