Reuse, Reduce and Recycle with Glasstic Water Bottle

Glasstic is a reusable water bottle company that started in 2011 bringing customers innovative products, focused on re-usability, re-cyclability and quality materials. They bring you one of the only truly shatterproof glass water bottles! 

I received product in order to facilitate this blog post, regardless of this all opinions are my own. I only post products that I am interested in or that I believe my followers would be genuinely interested in. 

I have a lot of reusable water bottles, but have never found one that I absolutely love yet. We have a water/ice machine at work, so I utilize reusable water bottles and cups a lot! As you can see I have quite the collection built up and this isn’t even all of them, I have some at work too - yikes! 

I was really excited when I got the opportunity to check out Glasstic’s shatterproof glass water bottle. I had honestly never heard of the company prior to this, but was excited to see what they had to offer. I got the bottle in the pink color, but they have a lot of other colors to chose from as well. 

The thing that really stood out to me about Glasstic’s water bottle is their unique design. The glass is essentially encased in a plastic outer shell, which is the key to making it shatterproof. 

As shown in the video above, the entire water bottle comes apart. This feature is so great for a couple reasons, one of them being cleaning, some of those reusable cups can be so tricky to clean, especially the straws. The other great thing about this is that you can really customize the water bottle. Glasstic has a bunch of style inserts available on their website (here) to purchase, or you can make your own unique design or drawing to put inside. I personally like it better as is, clear and see through. 

To disassemble the water bottle was slightly tricky for me, but it did give instructions with the water bottle on how to do this. The top of the water bottle will obviously unscrew, but so does the bottom of the bottle. Once both pieces are unscrewed off from the bottle, flip it upside down and press until the glass bottle begins to slide through the bottom. 

Overall, I was really impressed with the Glasstic shatterproof water bottle. I don’t really have a good gym friendly reusable water bottle, but I think this will be my new ‘’go-to’’, because of the shatterproof feature, and the handle that can be popped up for easy carrying. I know I’ll definitely be donating some of my other water bottles and cups above now, replacing them with this one.

The design is interchangeable.They have an assortment of insterts or you can make your own. I like thier inserts because they are not made of paper. I love this paticular design a lot. The bottle is spill proof. You can hang your bottle from your bag. The glass bottle is protected by plastic and unbreakable. It keeps your water or beverage cold. Its glasstic! I absolutely LOVE this shatterproof water bottle from Glasstic.  It is BPA free, leak free, ECO friendly and double walled.  The glass bottle is cased inside a plastic shell and super easy to take a part for cleaning.  I love the leak proof cap with it’s wide mouth and locking mechanism.  This a must have not only for these hot summer months but for year round.

I am one of those people who tries to do all the little things that I can to stay healthy. I’m not perfect, but I know there are a few fundamental things we can do that make a world of difference to our health and appearance. And really just one thing in particular. What is this ONE thing you ask?! Water. Drinking enough water. When we drink enough water our skin glows, our internal organs can flush out toxins properly, muscles function better, we feel fuller, more energetic….on and on the list of benefits goes. Did you know we are supposed to be drinking half our body weight in ounces every single day?! I know right?!

So all of this being said, I have for years made it a habit to carry a water bottle with me ALWAYS. It’s attached to me like an extra appendage. I carry it from room to room around the house, and have it with me EVERYWHERE that I go. That’s the trick.

The only worry about always drinking out of a water bottle, is the possibility of dangerous toxins leaking into the water from the plastic. Which is why I LOVE this Glasstic Glass Water Bottle. The core of it is glass. So your water is sitting in glass, not plastic. That’s fantastic! What makes this bottle better than other glass bottles I’ve tried? Well, quite simply, this one is actually shatter proof. The glass core is suspended inside a plastic shell. It doesn’t touch the sides. So if you drop it, there is zero impact on the glass!!! As a mom of two kids under the age of 6, in always juggling too many things, and I drop my water bottles often. Its better to drop the bottle than the kids I suppose. ;)

Why else is the suspended core a great idea? Well because the space between does two things. One, it prevents condensation from becoming a problem. Ever set a condensation covered bottle down on something important, a document, a book or magazine, a picture…your beautiful oak table. Ugh…what a drippy mess that has the potential to ruin so many things! Well…that’s not a problem with this bottle. The condensation stayed trapped inside the plastic. Like magic!

The second reason this design is great is because the outer shell works like a cooler to keep your water colder for longer. Also a bonus since we are apparently racing toward the sun. (Man it’s been hot lately!)

The last thing to talk about it the fun design of the bottle. I actually have to fend my daughter off of this water bottle. We both LOVE it. Sleek, bright and durable.

Oh! The Glasstic water bottle also comes with interchangeable tops! You can either opt for a flip top or a screw top. It’s always nice to have choices.

It’s also nice to have a company that stands by their product. This water comes with a lifetime guarantee. Can’t beat that!
