I loved your prince of hell fic omg I want that to happen on the show I'd love to know Alec's reaction
Ggjghghjghjghj. Really, I’m just waking up and seeing all this love. Definitely floating right now :). Thank you so much! And yes, I really really would love for something like that to happen; for Magnus to show off his real power, for everyone to realize just who they’ve been dealing with and how much they’ve underestimated him. I know of course that Alec would probably get off on it. Our boy has a power kink after all. Although tbh, who doesn’t as far as Magnus Bane is concerned. Hehehehehehehe.
Hey everyone, we’ve started the KlaineRoadTrip2015 collection on AO3!

Blaine combs the last bit of gel through and his hair is now perfectly slicked. He looks in the mirror to make sure he doesn’t have any loose hairs before he leaves the bathroom to walk into the rest of the hotel room. He finds Kurt putting the finishing touches on his quiff. He walks up behind him and wraps his arms around his husband’s slender body.
“Almost ready to go, Angel?” Blaine asks and Kurt smiles at him in the mirror. He will never get used to moments like this. Just being able to be happy and content in his husband’s arms. His husband. Half the time he still can’t process that he and Blaine are actually married. He’s married to the love of his life, his prince charming, and now they’re traveling the country and beyond together.
“Yeah. Can you get my vest from the bed please?” Blaine lets go of Kurt to retrieve his black vest from the bed behind him. He then slips it up Kurt’s arms, very reminiscent of the days that Kurt has a jacket to wear. Kurt proceeds to button up the vest as Blaine leans his chin on Kurt’s shoulder and snuggles his face into his neck. Kurt will never get used to these very simple moments between the two of them. Moments like these, most would take for granted, some day down the line they may as well, but simple moments of comfort and love like this should never be overlooked.
Blaine’s lips kiss Kurt’s cheek. “Ready?”
Kurt turns in Blaine’s hold to face him. “Ready. Wait,” he straightens his husband’s bow tie, “Ready.” He seals his statement with a kiss.
Once outside, the two start to head towards Chestnut Street hand in hand.
“So first on the agenda for today, Independence Hall!” Blaine excitedly announces. “We’re going to see the birth place of liberty! Speaking of liberty, we are also going to see the Liberty Bell which is right next door!”
Kurt chuckles, “I haven’t seen you so excited about history since your junior year when I helped you study for your final by giving you a kiss for every answer you got right. Which, looking back, probably wasn’t a good idea because we ended up in a heavy make out session half way through.”
“I still got an A, so I stand by it as the best idea I’ve ever had. Actually second best, first was proposing to sing a duet with you for regionals.” Blaine squeezes Kurt’s hand in his as he finishes and they stop waiting for an opportunity to cross the street.
“Aww.” Kurt leans down and kisses Blaine’s forehead. “You’re such a nerd.” Blaine teasingly starts to loosen his grip on Kurt’s hand. Kurt is having none of that and squeezes his husband’s hand tight and smiles at him. “You’re my nerd though.”
The two continue on their way to the historic building admiring the city hand in hand.
“Kurt look of those flowers!” Blaine runs toward the red and yellow flower bed pulling Kurt along with him.
“We’re at the birthplace of freedom and you’re fascinated by flowers.”
“They’re so pretty and they’re our colors.”
“Come on, Sweetheart. We’re going to be late for our tour.”
Kurt begins to lead them toward the building. Blaine is finally able to really see the structure and take it all in. “Kurt this building is gorgeous.” The two of them stare at the large brick building as they continue to their destination. “That bell tower-steeple-whatever-it’s-called is beautiful.”
“Imagine the inside.”
Once they reach the meeting place for the tour group they are lead inside. Their tour guide gives an overview of what happened in Independence Hall and they hang on to every word. Some really amazing things happened in here. They are lead throughout the building and are brought to the rooms where America was pretty much born.
“People such as John Addams, Benjamin Franklin, and George Washington stood where all of you are right now.” The tour guide explained. “Both, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, were debated and adopted in this East Room.” The guide continued to explain more of the room’s history and began taking questions, but all Kurt could focus on was how the room looked.
He whispers to Blaine, “I’m trying to pay attention, but the green table cloths are simply horrid.”
Blaine tries not to burst out laughing. “I don’t think the forefathers we’re concerned about what color cloth was on their table as they were debating documents that would give birth to our country.”
“But everything about this room is so beautiful, look at that chandelier,” Kurt points up at the light structure for emphasis. “The architecture in this room is gorgeous, but those table cloths.”
Blaine chuckles lightly and begins playing with Kurt’s fingers in his as the guide finishes up the tour.
“Thank you all so much for coming! I hope all of you enjoy the rest of your stay in Philadelphia, and make sure the visit the Liberty Bell. Once located in the bell tower of this building, but now it resides right next to us in Independence National park!” The tour guide waves at everyone as they leave with a smile.
“We definitely have to see the Liberty Bell.” Blaine says pointing to the Liberty Bell Center. The two walk into the building and are able to read up on this history of this icon before they actually get to see it.
“This trip is really helping me brush up on all the American History I’ve forgotten since high school.”
“Kurt, that was just about three years ago.”
“I didn’t care enough to remember.”
Blaine playfully swats at his arm. “Kurt, how dare you disrespect our forefathers like that,” he says in a very overdramatic tone. “Right in front of the bell that proclaimed liberty to all the land. This is a disgrace.”
“Oh like you remembered any of it,” Kurt laughs.
“I remember some.”
“Mmhm.”
-
“We have to find someone to take our picture in front of that.” Blaine says pointing at the iconic “LOVE” sculpture.
“There’s a lot of people around here, I’m sure one of them wouldn’t mind.” Looking like a nice person in Central Park you get asked to take a lot of pictures, but neither of them mind. It’s actually sweet to see people so happy and thankful that you took a picture for them. Hopefully people in this city will feel the same. “We could ask those girls over there.” Kurt says nodding his head towards the two teenagers leaning close together on a bench to look at something on one of their phones.
“Would either of you mind taking our picture in from of the sculpture?” Blaine asks, charming as ever.
“Of course!” The girl wearing a black dress patterned with bright pink flowers responds.
Kurt hands her the camera, “I like your flower crown.”
“Thank you,” she beams, fingertips touching the flowers in her dark hair perfectly matched to her dress.
Blaine puts an arm behind Kurt’s back and he does the same. They smile and the camera flashes.
“How ‘bout I take a few? So you have some back ups?”
“That would be great, thank you.” Blaine smiles at the girl. He rests his head on Kurt’s shoulder for the second picture and for the third he has another idea. “We should recreate the marine kissing the nurse photo.”
“Blaine that’s in Times Square, we’re in Philadelphia.”
“Please? It will be super cute! And we already had Rachel take one of us in Times Square.”
“That would be really cute,” the other girl adds.
“You could use it as like a Christmas card or a postcard or something,” the girl with the flower crown suggests.
“Or just post it on tumblr,” the other girl with light brown hair adds. “That would probably go viral.”
“Kurt, this could make us tumblr famous!” Blaine beams.
Kurt chuckles, “Okay, let’s do it.” Kurt wraps one arm around Blaine’s back, places the other behind his neck, and dips him. They both smile into the kiss and a few flashes from the camera go off. They then break the kiss and smile, momentarily lost in the other’s eyes.
“I got a few,” the girl says. “I hope you like them.”
The two walk over to her and the girl hands the camera back to Blaine. “What’s your name by the way?”
She smiles back at them, “Annie.” She points to the other girl. “And this is my friend, Maddie.“ The lighter haired girl gives a little wave.
Blaine smiles, “Well, thank you, Annie.” He shakes her hand. “I’m Blaine.” He then reaches for Kurt’s hand and Kurt intertwines their fingers. “And this is my husband, Kurt.”
Kurt extends his other hand to shake hers, “Hi, it was a pleasure meeting you.”
She nods, “Pleasure meeting you too.”
“Well, we have to continue our adventures in the city. We’ll let you get back to tumblr,” Blaine says with a smile.
“Have fun!” The girls say waving. Kurt and Blaine wave back, leaving to head the their next stop.

“Kurt look it’s the Rocky statue! The Rocky statue.” Blaine exclaims as the reach the art museum steps. For the first time today, Blaine lets go of Kurt’s hand to run up to the statue. “You have to take a picture of me with it.”
Kurt laughs at his husband’s excitement. “I feel like I just let a kid loose in a candy store.”
“Kurt, you know how much I love boxing. How much I love Rocky.”
“Yes I do. I’ve watched it with you about a hundred times. I think the only movie you’ve made me watch more is Hedwig.”
“But you love Hedwig too.”
“True, true.” Kurt retrieves their camera from the backpack on his shoulder. “Now pose.” Kurt snaps an adorable photo of Blaine in a fighting stance next to the statue.
“Kurt, I just thought of the best idea!” Blaine grabs Kurt’s extended hand. Kurt raises a questioning eyebrow. “We should run up the steps! Just like Rocky!”
“Oh hell no.”
“Kurt, please?”
“You know how I feel about running.”
Blaine then latches himself onto his husband’s arm. “Please? For me? For your one true love?” He looks up at him with the cutest puppy dog eyes Kurt’s ever seen.
“How ‘bout this,” Kurt begins, “You run up and I walk like a normal person behind you.”
“But I want to race.”
“Blaine, we are so not dressed to race.”
“Please.” Blaine kisses his cheek.
“Blaine, you are literally five.”
Blaine’s lips travel to Kurt’s jaw line. “It’ll be fun.”
“Not gon-” Blaine’s lips begin sucking lightly at Kurt’s neck. “Oh-Ohh-Kay. Fine. Yes. I’ll race you.”
“Yes!” Blaine kisses his lips quick. “I love you!”
“Even if I beat you.”
“What makes you think you’ll beat me?”
“What makes you think I won’t?”
“Is this a challenge?”
“You’re the one that wanted to race.”
“Oh you’re so on.”
They stand right at the bottom of the steps in front of an area that is clear of people.
“On three.” Blaine states, Kurt nods.
“One.” Blaine says as he gets in his running stance.
“Two.” Kurt states as he does the same.
“Three.” The say together as they start sprinting up the stairs. Blaine is in the lead on the first section, but Kurt catches up on the second.
“I win!” Kurt exclaims when he reaches the top, seconds before Blaine. “Aw, don’t be sad.” Kurt wraps his arms around his love.
“I’m not sad.” Blaine says into Kurt’s shoulder. Kurt kisses his head. “Okay, maybe a little bit.” He looks up at Kurt and pecks his lips. “But if I had to lose a race up the iconic Philadelphia Art Museum steps, I’m glad it was to you.”
Kurt chuckles, “You’re such a sap.”
Blaine squeezes his arms around Kurt’s waist, “Yeah, but I’m you’re sap.”
“How about some lunch?”
“Lunch sounds amazing.”
-
Blaine begins going through their bag, gathering their lunch supplies as Kurt lays the picnic blanket on the grass.
“This view is beautiful.” Kurt says looking out at the river. “Boathouse Row is ever more mesmerizing in person.”
Kurt sits on the blanket and Blaine joins him. He puts two paper plates down and places their sandwiches on top. He then takes out the container of grapes and places it between them. “Water?” He questions holding a bottle out for Kurt to take.
Kurt smiles, “Thanks, Sweetheart.”
Blaine kisses his cheek. “No problem, Angel.” He takes a bite of his sandwich. “Pb and j is always an amazing way to pick yourself up after a loss.”
Kurt laughs, “At least you came in second.”
“Kurt, there was only two of us, so second place is last place.”
“It’s like getting a silver metal in the Olympics,” Kurt reasons. “It isn’t that bad.”
“'Isn’t that bad’? Second is the first to lose! Don’t you ever listen to Abby Lee Miller?” They both laugh at that and continue eating their lunch. “The view also helps,” Blaine says popping a grape into his mouth.
“Me?” Kurt jokes, bumping Blaine’s shoulder with his.
“Well, this time I was actually referring to the scenery.” He turns his head to face Kurt, “But you’re always a nice view to admire as well.” He kisses his husband’s cheek and then places his head on Kurt’s shoulder. The two look out across part of the Schuylkill River to stare at the beautiful boathouses before them.
“I’ve always loved Victorian style houses and the view over the river just makes it so much more beautiful.” Blaine snuggles his head into Kurt’s shoulder as he speaks. “And the Art Museum next to us is so gorgeous.”
“I haven’t actually gotten a good look at it. I was distracted by a beautiful sculpted man.”
“Why, thank you.”
They both laugh and enjoy the comfort of being with each other in such a beautiful place.
-
“With these gargoyles I feel like I’m at Hogwarts or something,” Blaine says looking up at the huge statutes.
“This building is beautiful,” Kurt says, breathless. “I can’t believe a place called the Please Touch Museum is inside.”
“The columns, the glass dome, these gargoyles,” Blaine points at each one as he names them, “I can’t even begin to imagine what it looks like inside.”
Kurt intertwines their hands, “Let’s go find out.”
They walk through the doors of Memorial Hall and are found speechless. The view from outside was amazing, and the inside is just as mesmerizing. The architecture is something that can only be appreciated in person, or picture if need be, but never just by words. The marble floors, the detail on the walls, the huge sculpture of the Statue of Liberty torch. That sculpture is like a whole different story within itself. It is like a mosaic of enlarged everyday objects to make art.
Blaine is the first to form words, “I can’t believe this is a children’s museum where they’re encouraged, not only to touch the exhibits, but almost everything in here is interactive.”
Kurt looks at his husband, “So, where to first?”
“Did you know they have a carousal?”
Kurt shakes his head to express that he hadn’t known about that amazing fact before. “I think we should go there first.”
“Definitely.”
They make their way to a beautiful, indoor carousal surrounded by windows on three sides, giving riders a perfect view of the scenery outside. Once on the ride, the two pick horses next to each other, smiling like someone had just handed them the world’s cutest puppy.
Blaine holds onto the metal pole with one hand and reaches for Kurt’s with the other. Kurt takes his hand, smiling bright, “We are so taking our kids here one day.”
“Of course we are! This place is amazing,” Blaine says taking in his surroundings. He looks to his husband, meeting his gleaming smile with one just as bright. “Was that even in question?” Kurt just simply squeezes his hand in response.
The rest of the day is spent enjoying the miraculous museum. This place turned the two married, young men in their twenties into children again. There is absolutely no doubt in either of their minds they will come back here again.
In the cab on the way back to their hotel, Blaine drifts off to sleep on Kurt’s shoulder. Before he began dreaming about his and Kurt’s future together, he said, “We are so going back there with our kids.”
“Maybe more for our benefit than theirs,” Kurt chuckled.
“Mmh.” Blaine snuggled his head into Kurt’s shoulder, hugged his arm, and held that hand in his. “Love you, Angel.”
Kurt kissed his sleepy puppy of a husband on the forehead. “Love you too, Sweetheart.”
It’s come to our attention that part of our schedule isn’t as geographically logical as it could be, so there’s gonna be a slight change:
