Wicklow Mountains & Glendalough

Day 5 in Ireland:

Yesterday we took a day trip to the Wicklow Mountains & Glendalough.  This is by far my favorite experience here in Ireland.  We had an awesome tour guide, and he entertained us the entire way.  He said: "If you can see the mountains, that means it's going to rain soon. If you can't, it's already raining."  He was right.  It rained on and off all day, regardless, it was still an amazing experience.  We first stopped by the oceanside where we drove past Bono's House. Afterwards we made another quick stop at Lough Bray for a quick photo opportunity, and the "Guinness Lake" was so gorgeous.  We didn't close to it, but that's when I realize that we're really in Ireland.

We also passed by the bridge from the movie "P.S. I Love You".  I haven't seen the movie in awhile, but it was the scene where she first met him in the flashback and also the location where she read her last letter.

Glendalough was the prettiest sight I have ever seen.  I can't believe places like this actually exists.  I can't even explain in words how serene the lake was so here's a few pictures:

Ireland is beautiful, and I can't believe we leave Monday from this beautiful place.  Saturday we are heading to Galway for Mumford and Sons! It's time to take advantage of the little time that we have here in the Emerald Isle
