For all of my followers and curious stalkers and lurkers… This is the Official tumblr of recording artist Glenn Moses, founder of the mighty 131 Records indie record label, where every record rocks.
The above link is to my homepage, which is out of date and is currently being redone. All of this re-doneness is being executed by myself, in my (joking) so-called “free time”. Much of this blog here is re-blogging. Much of this blog is cross-posting of my unique brand of Life photography from my instagram (http://instagram.com/glenesis), and a tiny bit of shameless self-promotion for music made by me and my friends, and other things that I feel are important to the community, such as foodporn, and photos of fingers, ccheese, and sometimes of places where my feet have been.
I do blog a little here and there, and my blogging here is superceded by far with a LOT of lurking around other tumblr blogs (shout at coffeepeople, retrogasm, alaskade lalune, all awesome fun reblogs are all over my feed here)
Lately I have really gotten deep into the fast-moving flow of twitter! It’s an entirely diffrent kind of microblogging, and another great place that hasn’t been tweaked or crappified yet. I actually have THREE twitter feeds. Please feel free to follow ornot as you like. My main twitter is at http://twitter.com/glenesis. It’s a companion piece to this blog and to my instagram feed. I post my news relating to the artists on my label on its feed at http://twitter.com/131RecordsNYC (cos someone already had the 131records handle on twitter). I also am feeding the official twitter for my latest collaboration, the rock band called Afro Brick. In the airplay we’ve gotten, our songs get placed between artists like Led Zeppelin, the Doors, Jii Hendrix, Black Sabbath, etc. It’s just great Rock n Roll, and it’s the best new driving music I’ve had in years. So I signed them, put an album out, and started their twitter feed at http://twitter.com/afrobrick.
This post is just to thank my fellow tumblrs for sharing snippets of their thought flows with the rest of us. This place is not about the corporate feeds. It’s about absolutely everything that ever was or will be in the universe, as channeled in snippets through all of tumblr in a simple, unique and always wonderful and anarchic way. I love the pulse and the flow of this place, and I am happy to be a part of the tumblr family, and to be your neighbor.
