As I promised! You’re seeing it here first. The theme for this year’s Glen Rock High School’s Grad Ball was Modern Hollywood! ⭐️ So, of course, the parents of the students worked tirelessly all year to recreate Rodeo Drive and all the LA landmarks inside the confines of its’ gymnasium! 😳 The graduates were also greeted with a wall covered with their baby pictures as a Hollywood Walk of Fame (2nd page of photos). And, upon leaving the Ball in the wee hours, we were greeted by a clear view of the Strawberry Super Full Moon! 🌕🍓 Last Super Moon until next June! Tomorrow night, fellow Tarot Reader, Tuesdai Freeman, and I will be reading at Glen Rock High School’s Grad Ball! But it’s not just ANY graduation party! Designed and executed by the parents of the students, each year it’s a complete theatrical production! Last year it was “The Roaring 20s” (I couldn’t attend, it was held in the summer and I was on Nantucket), the year before a complete reconstruction of the American Museum of Natural History for the “Night at the Museum” theme! The year before, “Coachella”! All done in the school gym! I know this year’s theme but can’t tell you! It’s a closely guarded secret kept from the graduates until they walk in to the “experience”! TBT to Glenrock High School’s Grad Ball last year. The theme was the movie “Night at the Museum”. I read Tarot for the graduates and Teddy Roosevelt! I am heartsick that they are planning to remove his statue from the entrance to the American Museum of Natural History. He started our National Park system! And accomplished more than could possibly be listed here! He was also a friend of my family’s. He and his Rough Riders would stop at my grandma’s house in East Hampton to water their horses.
