I've been looking for a good Professor Harry fic. I've already read California Dreamin' and Put Your Curse In Reverse. Both are extremely good, but got me hooked on the head cannon. Do You know of any other long Harry/Ginny Professor stories?

Day 7 is GLISSEO!! I mean it's "slide". What else could I have drawn other than that moment in book 7 where Hermione shows her bad-arsery by getting the trio out of yet another pinch with some clever wand work. This has always been a favorite moment of mine, I love that she used two seemingly non-combattive spells to take out their persuers. Why, hello to everyone who seemed to appear out of nowhere while I was gone. When I left, there were only two of you, so the audience for this has definitely grown.

I'm afraid I'm in the lead up to midterms right now, hence all of the silence. (My queue ran out.....>.>) It should be set for a few days, or at least until I can get some more interesting posts up. Spring break is really soon, so I'll be more active then.

liz-scamander's ask has a good suggestion for adapting Glisseo (Ver I) to be a sigil. I'm really putting forth my suggestions with these spells (and curses), and you guys can make adaptions as you please. (I've come to the realization that I tend to break out sigils for protective work, but that's just me.)

With this ask, I also realized that I haven't let you guys know: If you want me to answer something privately, please note that in your ask. I have Anon enabled, if anyone would feel more comfortable that way. Ask away. If someone wants a particular spell to come next, or anything, really.

you could turn that glisseo spell into a sigil- use the letters of "glisseo" to draw it, then charge it with the intent of breaking someone's ego, keeping them away from you or your property, etc. i might actually use this

If you want to do that, that sounds fine. Version II suggests a sigil, and I can’t truly stop you from altering these to your fancy.

Glisseo

This spell causes the steps on a stairway to flatten and form a ramp or slide.

Version #2

Purpose: A protective spell against intruders (or someone specific).

Supplies: a computer/laptop with a photoshop/paint program; paper and a writing utensil

Notes: Either use the photoshop/paint program or draw this out by hand. Since I'm not artistically gifted, I'm going to describe this with a stick figure. You can get as realistic as you want.

Draw a set of stairs leading to your house/apartment/place of residence. Draw a stick figure on the ground.

-- Specifically write a name if you want to prevent a particular person from coming to your door, or write something more general [intruder(s)].

Next to or below that drawing, draw the stick figure coming up one or two steps. Say, "Glisseo". Draw the stick figure on a curved line or straight incline (slide or ramp), and if you would like, you can draw them sliding down.

Draw the stick figure on the ground, ultimately unable to get to your door.

Optional: Pair this with a sigil that you can trace on the door.

Personally, I would translate "Glisseo" into Gallifreyan and write a message in another language around it, along the lines of:

Slip and slide

no matter how hard you try

you're on a one way ride.
