Glitching, pixelating, distorting images (Glitching images (2images))
This week we were experimenting with glitching, pixelating and distorting images using photoshop...
GLITCHING EFFECT
I switched them round so that the bottom layer was black and white. I then went in with the marquee tool and started the cut the top layer a away using the "command, C" buttons on my computer and then clicking backspace to erase the layer and "command P" to paste the layer back. I then moved the layer to another part of the screen.
I continued and repeated these steps, I then changed the view of copies of rectangles I had moved across the screen to "Colour Dodge" to bring the vibrance of them up to create a luminous effect to the glitching image.
I really like how these 2 edits turned out I think they are a really good starting point for me to continue to explore editing.
