How did the butterflies kill the snake in Star Crossed?

Overwhelmed it!

Star butterflies, so, my thought is they ate away at the snake, overwhelming it with their maneuverability and numbers :D

"Baydrake! Baydrake look!" She held up the little bundle in her arms to show him a surprise. It was a baby! "His name is Chrys!" she said excitedly. "Isn't her cute!" Chrys blinked at the big dragon and giggled, clapping his hands happily.

Baydrake blinked in surprise at first. But then he smiled. That giggle and clapping of hands REALLY made him smile. He bent his head down and oh so very gently touched his nose to those tiny hands. Purring.

Haz`le giggled from her hiding place. There were flowers everywhere. All in very obvious places, but it would take a little to get the flowers cleaned up. Haz`le sat on top of a shelf and giggled again. This was her idea of a fathers day prank.

Tortus stood in the doorway, unsure of how to really react. Out of anything he expected, this certainly wasn’t one. He looked around him, the more he looked, the more flowers he saw scattered about. Flowers every other step. His brows furrowed as he looked on in confusion and frustration. At least, he did until he heard the stifled giggling. 

Softly as he could walk, he searched for the source. A smirk appearing on his lips once he found her. “Ah, So this was your doing? I’m not surprised.”

What do you think about ADHD Master? :3

MAN I always attributed ADHD to the DOCTOR, like ALWAYS.  The Doctor has bouts of depression, is effusively creative and energetic and often negotiates conflicting, multifarious trains of thought at once, to the point that sometimes it impedes their ability to concentrate or even speak.  The Doctor’s tendency to “run,” to avoid restraint, structure, and conflict, is further a “symptom” of this disorder, one that impacted academic performance as well as their major relationships (including with, yes, the Master) as people misapprehend the symptoms as an unwillingness to commit or become emotionally attached…when really, maybe it’s an actual inability.  Bouts of hyperactivity, special interests and infodumping, and hyperfocus definitely also occur.   And I’ve noticed little physical tics that could be read as “stimming.” 

I think the Master’s neurodivergency is more along the autism spectrum and the “personality disorder” spectrum.   I specifically write them with Borderline Personality Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and, unrelated to these dimensions of neurodivergency, PTSD.   Nevertheless I can also see where you’re coming from here: the hyperfixation element is definitely there, and the tendency to become overstimulated (one of the reasons why the “Drums” had such a pervasively negative effect: there is a constant loud noise in the Master’s personal environment).  I just always read that as autism because of the high AND low empathy element (which can be traits of being on the spectrum) and the disinterest, or more accurately, inability, to read the emotions of others and respond appropriately–which also plays into the BPD, with the rejection-sensitivity and unstable sense of personal boundaries, and black-and-white thinking about the object of affection (the Doctor).  

However you slice it, I think it is REALLY important to make room for neurodivergent headcanons for both the Doctor and Master, both because of the prevalence of canonical evidence, and the prevalence of fans who are themselves neurodivergent.  

And non sequitur, to the person who told me yesterday, on another blog and account, that saying things of this nature is “inserting too much of my personal issues into my muses,” go fuck yourself. :)))))  Fans can see themselves in the characters they love as much as they want, so much as doing so doesn’t hurt any other real person.

Hey, I have a question about your amazing Nutcracker story. What ever happened to Princess Pirlipat? And did the other Nutcrackers disappear before or after Hans was cursed? It's such an awesome story by the way! :D

The Mouse King gets rid of her. And I’m still trying to figure out the disappearing of the nutcrackers in detail.
