I’m not saying that all of our problems are rooted in colonialism and capitalism but I can’t find a single one that isn’t

I love it when people try to tell you the ‘horrors of socialism’ and they accidentally describe the direct effects of capitalism

Communism isn’t inherently flawed. Most people were taught to believe that everything has a cost and to take advantage of opportunities that will put them ahead of other people. It’s not human nature. Capitalist governments enforce the idea that being selfish is normal, that it’s either you or them. It’s what keeps capitalism thriving. So when people tell you communism won’t work because humans are naturally selfish just remember that’s a capitalist ideal.
