Fuck it canon wants me dead for the crimes of "trying to build my divergence AU on the basis of Jason's canon robin run" and "searching for a coherent timeline", furthermore I love horror stories in which children do terrible things and it's my AU so I do what I want therefore in light of new contradictory information in canon coming to light I am now aging glitterverse!jason down again. I think for coherence's sake I'll probably keep Jason's death at 13 years and 8 months in my reading of canon in general (which is already younger than people think esp since i don't add in his time spent in coma/dissociating for a number of reasons) but for the glitterverse the timeline is now as follows (in chronological order not stories order):

ROBIN RUN

-Batman #408: Jason is 9 years old!! No clickbait

-A death in the family: Jason is 12 years old!! But he is also ❗ dead ☠️

GLITTERVERSE DIVERGENCE STARTS HERE

-Ash Wednesday: Jason wakes up still very wounded and is immediately found by Talia again, but he's been hit by a car 🚗 and is about to die again 🪦 so she puts him in the pit immediately! Jason therefore wakes up at still 12 years old 🎂 and we side-step Winick's whole voluntarily dodgy age-up nonsense.

-Antigonish: it's been a year! Jason has now had a whole lot of training in a whole lot of stuff, and is now thirteen years old ❗🎂 That sure sounds like a great time to come home and murder people while pretending to be a vengeful ghost and haunting 👻 your own father while being haunted 👻 by a dead teen girl yourself. He hasn't had his growth spurt yet ❤️

[Nightwing: Ash to Ash ; Green Arrow: Double Red Daisies; Teen Titans: Axiom; Red Hood; the Hourglass ; Red Hood: War Hounds; Batman: Hour of the Mask]

-Nightwing: Brothers in Soul: this one starts with Jason escaping from Blackgate 🫢 and he turned fourteen years old while in jail! A birthday alone and a sudden growth spurt sure are the perfect terrain for what the plot of this one is ✨✨

-The Outlaws: finally a longer run!! Jason spends his fifteenth and sixteenth birthdays with Roy and Kory, which mirrors character growth ↗️📈

-Hunt for the Cowl: Jason is sixteen, but ‼️ there's a timeskip. Jason is now seventeen after the ending.

-Red devil: sympathy for the devil: Jason is seventeen years old, the perfect age for attempting to rekindle old romances and trying to connect with/figure out your sexuality when you have identity issues a miles wide. This is bound to go perfectly ✔️

-Outlaws Rebirth: seventeen and onwards! Jason connects with old and new friends, becomes an adult, lives through a lot of things, goes to hell once or twice- normal coming of age experiences. Are you even a man if you haven't bargained with the devil ? This is the true cause of the masculinity crisis 😔

“Marian, really?” Leandra’s exasperated shout echoes through the halls of the Hawke Hightown manor. “Mom, he was bleeding!” “You cannot bring home every stray that gets bullied!” The Hawke matriarch, graying ever so slightly at the temples, pinches her nose, one hand cupping her elbow as she frowned. “Malcolm! Will you say something?” Malcolm Hawke, his bushy beard hiding a smile his wife will smack him for later, towers over everyone except Garrett. A large man, the Ferelden blood plain to see in his build, he runs his eyes over the three of them, and the faint prickle of magic presses against Marian’s senses as he scans his children and the thin anderfells boy. “Any damage?” he finally asks, fingers rubbing against his hidden lips. Marian shrugs. “He had some cracked ribs and a broken nose, but Garrett’s taken care of the worst of it.” “And you?” Those eyes start to regain their twinkle, that little delighted spark whenever one of the Hawke brood does something absurd. “Damage?” “Cracked a knuckle and a split lip.” “School?” “Intact, unfortunately,” she mutters, shoving her hands in her back pockets. And with that, Malcolm’s self-control breaks. His bark of laughter, so like their Mabari, rings through the room “Maybe you can fix that next time, Pup,” he manages, ruffling her unruly curls until she ducks away with a glare. Leandra throws her hands in the air, stomping away into the kitchen with vague threats of beating bread since she can’t beat sense into her family.

Headcanon time! Now with the most adorable family of all, the Apples! (part 1)

- Grand Macintosh (aka Mackie for his little sister), is the eldest son of Sugar Belle and Big Macintosh. A very adorable boy, he likes to help his mother in the kitchen, accompany her aunty Jackie (as he likes to call her) during the day's tasks, compete against his father on who can fill a basket of apples in 5 seconds and do Picnics in the special place of his grandparents. Proudly graduated member of the Curie Mark Crusaders.

- His special talent is to prepare detailed dishes with different ingredients - mostly apples and pears. (I like to think that the piece of fruit of his cutie mark is pear)

- He's a unicorn! :D the terrestrial genes partially won the lottery, making his horn really small and wide; In spite of that, he's totally capable of performing magic, but on a smaller scale. He usually has it hidden under his curly mane.

- Apple Pop (aka AP), the little sister of Grand Mac. When she was born, she was only slightly larger than Winona's puppies; Its size comes from a defect by the Sugar belle bloodline. At first her parents (especially Big Mac) tried to be as careful as possible when handling AP (she looks so fragile and adorable when she's sleeping).

- AP inherited the handkerchief of her great grandfather Grand Pear, who loves and takes it with her everywhere.

- AP enjoys spending time with her favorite puppy, Willow, and she enjoys the company of the little filly, and always accompanies her wherever she goes as a good watchdog.

- Mackie used to carry AP on his back when she was little throughout the farm, showing her his favorite places to rest, which places to avoid, the best routes to the Grandparents Tree, ect.

- Granny Smith lived long enough to meet her great grandson. Not much to say about it.

- Mama Belle and his little one-week-old hair ball.

Hey look I'm alive and I scraped a few words off the bottom of the depression barrel

Marian Hawke never quite learned how to not fight.

Fighting doesn’t make anyone a hero, and if you call her one, she’ll laugh in your face. But she hates bullies, and injustice burrows under her skin, snakes its long and winding way toward her heart, and burns until her self-control is nothing but ash.

Everyone, teacher and student, knows by now that if Marian Hawke catches you in a fight, you better have a damn good reason for it, or she’ll finish what you started. Usually painfully.

Some go so far to call her a bully, but most of those bitter and resentful people are bullies themselves. She’s never quite sure if being a bully to other bullies means she’s standing up for the little guys, or if she’s just looking for fights and the mean ones are the biggest and best targets for her 4-foot-11-inch, rage-filled frame

I'm slowly alternating between Glitterverse and Woods, so. We'll see if it actually goes anywhere.
