The Bombardier Global 6000 Aircraft
Bombardier is a Canadian manufacturer located in Montreal which was founded in 1942. The Global 6000 started production in 2012 and is considered to be among the widest cabins for an aircraft in its class.
The 6000 aircraft can seat up to 17 passengers including a 2-4 pilot crew. However, it is recommended when flying anywhere between 8 to 9 hours. To travel with a maximum of 8 passengers. Adding more will allow for less room and limit space for the others. When flying up to 13 hours or more, it is suggested to travel with anywhere between 6 and 7 passengers. The maximum range of the aircraft is approximately 6,000 nautical miles at a speed of Mach 0.85, with approximately 8 passengers/4 crew.
The 6000 is meant to be an improvement to the XRS and Express models and includes a new avionics system and galley design. The system comes with the Bombardier Vision flight deck which is powered by Rockwell Collins ProLine Fusion avionics. As for the galley, it has been designed in an "s" shape and is considered to be a very ergonomic change to its layout and flow.
Also:
-The baggage compartment on this aircraft is pressurized and accessible while on the aircraft through the lavatory.
-Approximately 3 years ago, Bombardier upgraded the interior of their Global 5000 and 6000 models. Some of those upgrades include redesigns to the seating, galley and more.
