Mystical Shamanic Dance @ Natural High Healing Festival 2016

Followed by the Beach set (and after quickly putting my son to sleep in the tent) I played this well-planned set to facilitate a modern shamanic dance journey within and across the ancestral spirit world and the cosmos. The dance floor was fully packed all the time and not all who wanted could join us. I wish that we who were privileged to experience it all succeeded to enjoy the intelligent induced movements and through the pleasurable physical moving meditation exercise could even reach out for the missing parts of our soul to bring them back into our being, and could let our original uncorrupted self to make a new home in our bodies, able to root itself into a more fertile inner ground than before the journey.

Next time the party will hopefully be without small “this is how’s been going on” mind-talk. It distracted me and some others in the audience quite many times, pulled the focus out of the music from the trivial speech, and the effect of the deeper songs in the beginning were not felt in their full potential. I will design a special “Please respect the sound space and do the talking outside” sign for the next event. Enthusiastic yelling, laughing, cheering and other impulsive and uninhibited sounds however, are highly encouraged in moderation for the healthy emotional release and expression to be experienced.

I’m planning for the special mix based on the gig, added by few songs that were meant to play but were cut out because the playing time ran out. 

I got so awesome feedback from this set that I went through some extra effort (like I used to do regularly years ago) and added links to listen/download/purchase the tracks I played. The special enhanced Mystical Shamanic Dance mix is coming on August.
