MORTICIA & WEDNESDAY ADDAMS MOONBOARD created by my petite chauve-souris ☾
do you wanna go walk in the leaves with me? ❞
halloween/fall starters ! - ( ACCEPTING. )
“The leaves, you say? Do we have a big pile of them outside?” The thought of it makes Gomez light up with the same innocent enthusiasm that his daughter displayed. It was that time of year again and their spirits were high!
“Yes, my dear, we can’t let this fine weather go to waste. Do you want to bring Marie Antoinette with you? I think she would appreciate the change of scenery.” Maybe they could bury her head in different locations and play a good-old-fashioned game of hide-and-seek.
@gloomfilled wanted a starter !
❝ I’M A PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR NOW. I figured that being able to see ghosts shouldn’t just end with talking to the ones in my attic. Not to mention people like proof that they exist, too, and with actual undoctored photographs. That is if they’re not as close minded as my parents used to be thinking my photographs of ghosts wearing sheets was all imaginary. ❞
an idle smile is present upon the boy’s face as he leads wednesday through the buzzing arcade. lights & sound effects surrounding them whilst illuminating their faces in a kaleidoscope of colours. ted could smell the pizza. though he wanted to seem cool in front of her , so he doesn’t suggest they eat. instead assuming that showing off on pac-man would be a better bet. but she can play first. because that was most gentlemanly. “which one do you want to play first , babe ?” he pauses. shaking his head. smile fading for only a few moments as he corrects himself. “i mean.. wednesday.” he stops. pulling a coin from his back pocket. “you can have the first token.” he grins.

Adam hadn’t been on the grounds of the Addams Estate in a year or so. As a child his Grandmama would often come to visit Mister & Missus Addams, and he would play with Pugsley and Wednesday. Pugsley often got bored however and it left for Wednesday and Adam to find fun. Now at the ripe age of eighteen, he still liked to stop by from time to time. Visit, give his grandmother’s best to the Addamses. He first had stopped by the front and gave Mrs. Addams a few key potion ingredients he had been asked to deliver, and was told Wednesday was out by the graveyard.
Smiling he thanked her, and slipped off to one of their favorite spots. He saw her, all slim and dark and vicious. Perfect spot. He made a slight gesture, and slowly conjured the vines below her to start to crawl and wrap around her legs. An old prank, but one of his favorites.
" Happy Fathers Day. " The girl came into his study and handed him a card they forced her to make in school, though of course Wednesday put her own flair on it. A lot of blacks and reds were used.
“Gracias, mi pequeña.” The card was graciously accepted and his eyes light up. Oh, yes! A masterpiece! As if Wednesday would provide anything else! “Magnificant, Wednesday! The blacks, the reds— Where did you get real blood?”
The school liked to provide the children with arts and crafts materials, but those usually only consisted of tissue paper, ribbons, and glitter. It was appalling to force children to use such things! Of course, Wednesday had other methods of creating her design!
“As always, you never cease to amaze me.”
Wednesday had been studying up on other cryptids lately in her spare time. “ You know after examining all of them Father. I would have to say my favorite is The Mothman the omen bringer. There is something so intensely alluring about all the stories told. “ Looking up from her book and over her shoulder.
“The Mothman is a good choice. Quite the ominous presence, don’t you think?” And one that had been sighted numerous times across the country. Gomez was glad Wednesday was so thrilled with the stories! Not that he had expected any other reaction from her.
“I’m partial to the Batsquatch myself. That’s been sighted around Mt. St. Helens.” Which wasn’t far from where they lived. A three-hour drive, he estimates. “How would you feel about going on a drive sometime? We could all go looking for it.” They were a family who knew how to attract the strange and paranormal, so he had high hopes that they would be able to sight it themselves.

Wednesday had a splendid dream which had stirred her from her slumber. Frightening her. Coming into their room and pulling herself up onto their bed. Trembling. “ Mother. “ Shaking her. “ It was awful, there were rainbows , sunshine, and a bake sale. It was dreadful. “
WITH SLEEP DISTURBED, AWARENESS SETTLING IN at her daughter’s sudden presence upon the bed. Illuminated by the shake of shoulders that force eyes to open and a deep inhalation of breath seemingly bringing her back to life from the dead. Hands that had once graced her husband’s form now find placement upon Wednesday’s arm as she leans up into a slightly seated position, expression displaying a sense of concern. ❝ Where?! ❞ It takes her but a moment to realize that it had been just a dream. ❝ Oh—— you poor dear. ❞ To think… a child of her own, dreaming of such things! She might have expected it from Pugsley, but not her little girl. Not Wednesday. With arms extended, she pulls the young child into her bosom and holds her close as fingers run through the length of her hair. ❝ Shall I tell you a story, petite chauve-souris? One filled with torture and decay within the throws of the Spanish Inquisition, perhaps? ❞ There was one in particular to which Wednesday always loved: of two lovers flagellated and then boiled alive. Surely, it would appease her subconscious and dissuade the turbulence of such obscure pleasantries.
