zhang xinyuan + female + she/her.┊ ❛ ━ hey, is it just me or do you hear fly me to the moon by frank sinatra playing in the distance ? oh, thats just mother moon, a chaotic neutral member of the league of villains. i suspect they might be edith liu, a 31 year old dressmaker and seamstress with the ability to gain strength from the moon. according to my sources, she can be comforting, but also jaded which is probably why they remind everyone of gold hand mirrors and navy blue silk so much. anyway, a supervillain or not, crystalline city is keeping a close eye on them! What’s up party people? Name’s Queenie and I’m the knucklehead behind the bigger knucklehead, Ender Scott! Real quick, I just want to say that I’m so thrilled to be here and also apologize in advance for wonky looking posts. I have an obnoxiously old laptop that goes on the fritz like nobody’s business, so xkit is unfortunately a no go. Anyway, onto introducing Ender under the cut!

Quick trigger warnings for death mentions, anxiety, unhealthy coping with said anxiety, illness mentions.

First, let’s get something off the table: this dude is the mayor’s son. Don’t jump to conclusions though, because he’s honestly one of the most humble and polite people on the planet. Holds doors open for people, waves to just about anybody, the whole nine yards. (I’ll come back and fill in the blanks once plotting has been accomplished.)

Ender loves his family with all of his heart, no joke. You better believe that the moment they call him, he’ll come running and will always do his best in order to maintain their happiness/safety/etc. If you’re in his inner circle of loved ones, definitely expect him to display this type of caring and loyalty.

Bonus fact/tie in with the previous one: he’s married! He and his hubby are lifelong best friends, fell in love, then put a ring on it when they graduated from college. (His husband is also a WC!) (They also have an eight year old son!)

That alluded/mentioned brightness also applies to his smarts. If you ever need some random trivia, carefully considered advice, or outside the box approaches to your problems then this is your guy to call. Of course, his own troubles are quick to get locked away because as he’ll never fail to tell you, he’d rather keep his focus on his loved ones.

On the flip side, he’s quite hesitant in certain situations and often jokes that he should change his middle name from Milo to the word no as a result. These situations include, but are not limited to: revealing his true feelings, talking about powers, talking about supers, and anything related to those three things.

Ender speculates that this ties with the GAD that he was diagnosed with back when he was a preteen. The theory isn’t much of a stretch, since he was also nervous as all hell when it came to coming out and it just keeps popping up like a really odd carnival game.

He’s a detective, dedicated to solving cases and bringing justice/closure to the right people. This desire also drove him to join the league of heroes, but shh, that’s a surprise. Especially to this guy since he’s usually such a lone wolf type.

Here’s a fun fact for you though: Ender may not be the biggest fan of his power/risking exposure, but he’s also prone to using it in order to solve cases during his day to day life. When he’s under the mask as Ghoul though...let’s just say people can expect a real Thriller.

Although there is a serious drawback called Dead Man’s Fever. Essentially, Ender uses a bit of his own health in order to sustain a few ghosts/skeletons/zombies at a time with no issues. If he tries to summon a vast and varied army of the undead though, that’s when things take a turn. His temperature plummets then skyrockets into a fever which is the first symptom of many in a downward spiral of health.
