ATTENTION PLAYERS: PLEASE READ

OOC: Hello my lovelies, the admins have received a couple of questions about in-game plot reveals and after talking it out, we would also like to allow players to message us ON THE MAIN to talk about specific MAJOR PLOTLINES they would like revealed on the gossip blog. While gossip blasts are written based on admin observation, and are also rewarded to players who submit tips, we would also like to extend the opportunity for players to dictate the timeline of their own plots and make it a fun and productive character development environment for everyone.

However, we have a few guidelines PRIOR to messaging us for a SPECIFIC GOSSIP BLAST REQUEST about your own character.

Please read the below info:

The plot MUST make sense in the chronology of your characters’ other current plots. There MUST be dash interactions to show that you have put clear thought and effort into developing this plot. Gossip blasts will not just be awarded to inactive players because they have talked OOC about a plot they would like to have enacted.

All plots MUST be developed, and all players will be expected to make a case to the admins about WHY it is a good time to release such information, the RAMIFICATIONS it will have for the player[s] involved, and HOW your character plans to deal with it or acknowledge it in-game.

Again, admins reserve the right to decline these requests if they are too hurried, hastily made, or not properly thought out.

Players who submit tips or players who are clearly very active on the dash are more likely to have their personalized gossip blast requests approved.

ALL REQUESTS MUST BE SENT TO THE RPG’S MAIN, NOT THE GOSSIP BLOG.

ATTENTION PLAYERS: PLEASE READ

You should all be familiar with our ranking system by now. If you aren’t, please take the time to read it over again so you fully understand how character’s move up on the star ranking scale, and how you can get posted about more on the LA Informant. 

Here you can review submission guidelines, and this is an addition to the kinds of things you can submit. Please read this completely so you understand the type of submission and the rules required for this kind of interaction. 

The LA Informant will start posting bi-weekly updates on the character progression in terms of their fame. This will include, but is not limited to, updates on star ranking advancement or downfall. As we outline in the plot section of the main page, characters can increase their fame by interacting, having dramatic plots, sending in tips to the gossip blog, and having advancements or disadvantages to their career. 

Please note: This is the ONLY time you are allowed to submit a tip about your own character. 

To keep track of the progression of the character’s fame in-game, we are requesting character’s to send in an accurate, truthful tip about recent developments in your character’s career. Are they releasing a new single? Did they get a new movie role? Got signed onto a new agency? Anything that you believe pertains to their career, both advancement and backwards, you should submit to us. This includes photo-shoots, partnerships, sponsorship, etc. 

GUIDELINES FOR THESE KINDS OF SUBMISSIONS:

You must have in-character posts backing up this development. For example, your character must have talked about it with someone else, posted on social media about it, or had the action written out in-game. Please do not just make something up and never have your character be impacted by this.

It is our decision if what you submit makes it into the bi-weekly update. If we don’t feel you have had your character active enough or impacted enough by the action, we won’t include it. We also will not include several posts on a single character. Please understand that it is our decision what makes it to the final cut. 

Stay reasonable with your submissions. Don’t tell us every time your one star talked to a five star. Instead, keep it specific. Did your hairstylist land an important gig with a five star? Tell us!

We make the decision for star rankings at all times as well. Your character rank will either increase, decrease, or stay the same depending on what we as a team deem realistic. Thank you for understanding! 

The only way we can post our bi-weekly updates is if you guys send in these career related tips. REMEMBER! This is the only submission that can be about your character, and they must be entirely true. 

Thank you for reading! A large part of this roleplay is using in-game drama and plotting to increase the exposure and fame of your characters, so this is a big part of the experience we hope to offer our members at Glossy Pages. The first fame update will be posted on February 7th, and we will be accepted career submissions for that blast until Feb. 5th.
