Suddenly got the urge to make a glow bug OC. So meet PVA I suppose. Dont let them near your taxes, homework or any other important documents. I guess this is me coping with the wait for chapter 2....

I went back for some touch-ups yesterday, and now there's a glow bug too 😍☺️ We were discussing too - how do you call these guys? Lightning bugs, glow bugs, fireflies? I usually say glow bug, probably because it is the easiest back translation from the German Glühwürmchen.

Tiny Firefly in an Antique Frame that is brushed in 24k Goldleaf

Ahhh, it’s so small, but so precious! I image it on a small wall in a corner where you can reflect… or in a collection of other tiny critters. It’s definitely a special piece. One of my hobbies is collecting antique frames. I had three of these, and I am sad to say, this is the last one left. I brushed it with 24k gold leaf, so it is covered in real gold. It is 3’’x3’’. This is an original painting made with handmade watercolors that were made out of my grandmothers crushed anique jewelry, glass, and glitter. The painting is also adorned with 24k gold leaf.
