I made an earring with our favourite Grumpy Frog and the baby Glow Toads out of polymer clay and acrylic paint :) I love Bait, and the Baitlings Sneezles, Hat and Jellybug were just so adorable😍

To anyone struggling with dried out polymer clay, like I did (because mine was apparently so old even the one in its original packaging dried out), here is what worked for the Fimo I used: Crumble it into small pieces, add a drop or two of vegetable oil to those bits and then knead it for a while (I recommend gloves for that). Repeat this until you believe it's soft enough to work with :)

💛Glowtads🩵

These little guys were such an adorable surprise in the new season of @dragonprinceofficial ! I can’t wait to see more of them! (But poor Bait…😜😂)

Have you ever seen a glow toad? I know they live in the human kingdoms, but has one made its way to the Moonshadow Forest?

I’ve seen them. They live near water and they love to swim, and Moonshadows enjoy water very much. Unless you’re Rayla. There’s a big river through our Forest, and plenty of smaller rivers and streams that connect to it, and the odd glow toad does find their way into our shadowed waters from beyond the Forest’s reach. When they do, they’re very easy to spot!

Runaan always takes the time to fetch them out of the water before they get eaten, and he escorts them personally back to the edge of the Forest, where there is more sun and more of the food they prefer. He knows they don’t mean to wash in here, but sometimes it happens. And he understands the Grumpy arcanum, too, so he feels an affinity for them in their accidental distress. 

I’ve taken to imitating him when it comes to my own grumpy-boy rescues, and I’ve hauled Runaan out of social interactions he “accidentally” got roped into by escorting him to the edge of the party where he can have some peace and quiet again. He’s profoundly grateful, just as I imagine his rescued glow toads are!
