I've only just realised 'i saw the TV glow' is a movie. I thought there was just a resurgence of people discussing the show GLOW from Netflix and I just thought I had missed the later season because I did not remember any of these things happening.
Wrestling as a metaphor for sex
When Justine was talking about Ruth and she said "Would you even remember her?" Like god damn I felt That, like I can Relate to That feeling of not making any type of impact on people, of people not even fucking remembering me in any capacity.
The Concerned Women of America. They're a small but powerful group. They feel that GLOW is too sexual, especially for children that might be watching. And, uh . . .
