The nice part about being in Los Angeles is that I get to meet many actors and people in the entertainment industry and also get to hear about their upcoming movies and parts they act in. This is Malek who will be shooting a movie tomorrow with one of my other clients who is a screenwriter and executive producer. He needed to be very tanned for his role and it was his first time getting an airbrush tan. The beautiful Mandy with a glow by Simone. She is expecting her first baby and wanted to capture some pictures on the beach. Many people always ask me if it’s safe to spray tan during pregnancy and I always have to tell them to check with their doctor because I don’t know if you have any medical conditions and because of the HIPPA privacy laws, I’m not even allowed to ask you about medical conditions. So only a doctor can authorize that. What I can tell you is that I spray tan many woman who are pregnant because most doctors are ok with it. In my 12 years of doing spray tans, I had only one client where a doctor said to avoid the stomach but the rest of the body I was allowed to spray. And in our industry we’ve never heard of any pregnant woman having an issue.
