"Oh my." She fixes her hair. "I am still getting used to this whole dimensional travel thing. But in the meantime, there is a location I would like to show you."
He gives a tiny smile. It could take a little bit of getting used to.
A step forward is taken, as to say that he was ready to go, wherever she wanted to take him.

Snickers. “We should visit the seasonal section. It’ll have all your autumn scent needs.”
There’s a big grin just at the thought of it.
“Lead the way! Oh, I bet Leon would love those too! He hadn’t even experienced incense sticks until he met me. He thought those were great, just wait ‘till he gets a whiff of these!”
"Ready to go in?"
“Oh, yes, definitely!”
And yet as soon as she steps in, she stops, eyes a little wide as she takes in a breath of air. There were so many different scents here, and they all hit at once.
“...I may not have been as ready as I thought I was.”

blinks. “Waxy scented candles? No honey I mean something like lilac. Or lavender.”
“Erm...I don’t know what things are like here, but from my experience, the color doesn’t really matter.”
"Honey you need some scented candles to set the room off."
She raises a brow. Scented candles???
So...like candles with a stronger smell or...?
“Why would I want candles where their waxy scent is stronger??? It’s not a scent I personally enjoy, honestly.”
glowingmatriarch replied to your post: "Are you ready?"
“Come with me. If you would prefer not to speak, I understand sign language, if you also know it. Learned it for the mute children.”
He gets up, and glances over his shoulder to make sure Bean and Ray would follow him. He wasn’t about to go anywhere without them. Besides, the feast was for Bean too. Not so much for Ray, given how little he ate but...he did like watching, so there was that. Maybe it’d cheer him up. Bark hoped so.
It was nice of her, that she’d learned sign language. All for the sake of children too.
Though he shakes his head, and then moves it up to reveal the scars on his neck. She was going to see them eventually anyway. It wasn’t a matter of whether he preferred not to speak or not.
He then moves his head down a little, doing his best to hide them again.
"Are you ready?"
That was a great question.
He quickly wipes at his eyes before turning around. She was still a stranger, and didn’t need to see him crying.
He looks down at himself.
Well...the injuries are gone, but there were still the blood stains. He would’ve loved to take a nice warm bath beforehand, but he wasn’t sure where the bathroom even was in this place.
He hoped there wouldn’t be people there...Then again, it was a feast, thrown by a queen. There probably would be.
A hand moves up to lightly touch his neck. He had nothing to cover up with. There’d probably be a lot of staring.
He takes in a breath, fidgeting a little as he nods. He was ready, he supposed, even if he didn’t feel that way.
