I don't really like that Scott just leaves a lot of things up to interpretation. Like I get it, some elements can't be explained, but when it comes to characters like for example, the FNAF 4 characters. You should at least give them names, otherwise people are just gonna get frustrated. Like I would like at least some explanation however I feel I'm never gonna get any answers with each new installment in the series.

welp thats just the thing with the franchise, they were not really planned... but made each installment out of necessity , Scott prefers the suspense and frustration and dangling things over our noses because well...... hes a guy whos NEVER been this acclaimed in his whole ass life... theres a power thrill in people wanting for your answer but never getting it.

I also feel that the Fazbear Fright short stories should've been either 100% canon or non canon and I'm still mad that Scott hasn't confirmed any of the stories to be canon or not.

i do not think they should be considered in any way canon, they are mostly there to explore concepts and “what ifs” and parallel like stories, this franchise is really not for people who like concrete things tbh youll just get too frustrated and give up, plus i just take the short stories as an excuse to be really, really mean at kids n scare em, like a fuckier goosebumps
