Alonzo was the second of five kids growing up, and was constantly fighting with his parents over how they treated his siblings. After Myra was kicked out, he went with the rest of his siblings and spent his later teen years helping Maria raise their younger siblings (and new nephew). He never wanted kids of his own, always more interested in the stars than being seduced by his classmates. That turned out to be his undoing, being abducted by aliens and experimented upon. Fatherhood was an unwelcome surprise to him, a burden he never could have managed alone. Holding his unexpected child in his arms, only a single thing came easy to him: that he would never become his father. However tired, however hurt angry and scared he was, Alonzo would never make it the fault of the child who never asked to be born. Mateo grew up adored unconditionally, loved and cared for. She never met the grandparents who haunted her father.

btw this is the couple im currently playing. here's a pic from their 'wedding'. I dressed them up for a wedding and then had them elope in front of the gym for my own sanity.
