He knew March was someone extroverted, someone who wore her heart on her sleeve and didn't put as much thought into what came out of her mouth... someone who was the complete opposite of himself. So it shouldn't have caught him so off-guard she'd use the word "friend", a word that for him had never had much meaning... at least until now. If his walls weren't kept so high, he might have smiled at the comment.

"Was it really that or just your ability to get involved in everyone's business?" he asked, attempting to cut the conversation short even if inside he did actually appreciate the gesture of the girl trying to look out for him. There was research that needed to be done about that planet and it couldn't be half-assedly executed, so he couldn't allow himself to get distracted by words or feelings.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS... the former idol remembers a time when she'd take pictures with dozens, if not hundreds of fans. days were long spent with handshakes and pictures, moments that were fleeting to her - but ones that would last a lifetime to them.
