The Royal House of Greece (House of Glücksburg-Greece, branch of the Danish House of Glücksburg) and the House of Holstein-Gottorp-Romanov (Imperial Dynasty of Russia) were related, their common ancestors were Landgrave Louis VIII of Hesse-Darmstadt, Duke Charles Louis Frederick of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Charles Frederick , Grand Duke of Baden and many others.

Queen Margrethe hosted a concert and dinner at Fredensborg
On October 29, Queen Margrethe, accompanied by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, hosted a concert a dinner in the Dome Hall at Fredensborg Castle for representatives of the unity of the Realm. Throughout the years, The Queen and Prince Henrik have held concerts at Fredensborg Palace to which various groups from society have been invited. This year, The Queen invited the some persons who make a contribution to the unity of the Realm between Greenland, the Faroes and Denmark.

She would combine her talents to make collages, prints, and paintings to give away to friends as presents. She would take photos and render them, then she would paint backgrounds and stamp them on with crafts.
