Whoever Thought This Was A Good Idea.....

Can go to hell 😭😭😭😭 So four weeks ago I got Invisalign braces due to the fact that my health problems prevents me from getting traditional ones (wires). Well, I thought it wouldn't be so bad since it's just plastic coverings and it'll be okay. How very wrong I was. Every two weeks you have to change your liners to the next set which is the equivalent of getting wire braces tightened. It's uncomfortable for about the first two days and then you adjust. However, the equivalent of getting rubber bands hurts so. Much. Worse. Instead of stretchy pieces of rubber, I get these dots of glue on my teeth that pull them into place. Not only that, but the liners change to accommodate the dots so that it just "pops" into place more securely when you put them in. Taking them out though? A bitch and a half. You have to be super careful to not pull the dots off and in the meantime ignore the pain that feels as if you're pulling your teeth out. I always hear people say that "Invisalign isn't so bad" "It's nothing like regular braces" "You can't even tell you have them" Well let me tell you a thing....... THAT IS BULLSHIT. These are just as prominent, if not more so, than their wire counterpart and I would just like to say that I don't appreciate this 😭😭😭 Tl/dr: I have Invisalign instead of wire braces and they are just as bad and painful. Don't get braces if you don't DIRELY need them. And even then, you're beautiful the way you are! ❤️
