I just received the Gluglug refurbished X60 Thinkpad today
I'm not sure whether to blame UPS or the folks at Gluglug, but my initial impressions are lackluster. For being "professionally refurbished" the thing has all kinds of dirt and minor scuffs on it and a big old block of adhesive residue where the bubble wrap was rolled around it. The nub is also in some worn shape and even has discoloration - I'm not sure if its just dusty and just needs a wipe down, but I'm not hopeful. Luckily those are easily replaceable if that's the case. Shipping was very speedy for having come from the UK, which I can appreciate. Apropos of actual usage, I haven't gotten around to that yet but I imagine it should be like any other old laptop. Cosmetically it should have definitely been treated better but there are so many things that could have affected that I'm not comfortable with being too upset about it.
