This gluten-free egg roll in a bowl recipe offers all the flavors of traditional egg rolls without the wrapper. It's a low-carb, quick, and easy meal that's perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey or chicken. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 small onion, chopped. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced. 1/4 cup gluten-free soy sauce or tamari. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce optional. 1 small head cabbage, thinly sliced. 2 medium carrots, shredded. 2 green onions, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds for garnish. Fresh cilantro for garnish.
Instructions: Put sesame oil in a large pan and heat it over medium-low heat. Boil or grind turkey or chicken, then add garlic, ginger, onion, and onion. For about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the meat is browned and the vegetables are soft. Add rice vinegar, sriracha sauce, and gluten-free soy sauce or tamari. Mix well.
