I'm only sort of not dead.
IDK.... I spent 3 1/2 days working hours on it. I figured that, after all that effort, I might as well share.
From this....
To this....
Became this....
I have little bird figurines perched all throughout my collection of various dollhouses. And I decided to make a little birdhouse for one of them. Complete with a nest and eggs.
Babes in Dreamland
I made a dreamy scene (inspired by the new parade sets) in this box to perch my dreamy baby trio atop of. I worked for almost two weeks on it. What do you think?
From Worlds of Wonder by Johanna Basford: Starjoy pencils, white gelly roll, and various gold markers and gel pen.
Spring Love
I was able to get better lighting. My lamps are very yellow. But, it's overcast yet still bright outside. So, the lighting is more neutral. The neutral light brings the pink out really strongly. But, again, it's better lighting overall and I'm ready to be done. I have fiddled and tried to perfect it so much, that I think its time I accept it as it is. So, this is the final edit of my page. I'm sure all that effort shows and that's all that really matters.
There was some streaking I could not smooth out enough to be satisfied. So, I tried to add some dynamic shadows. I'm hoping they add more dimension and intrigue.
From La Fleur Mystique by Tawny Fritz: Arteza permanent marker, Castle Art pencils, Posca pen, gelly roll, and metallic gel pen (silver/gold.)
To be fair.... I do a LOT of horse art/doodles. Like a lot. And if it's not horses, it can often include other hoofed animals.... I apparently like creatures whose feet go "clip clop."
I want to do some fanart of Galarian ponyta and rapidash. I just need to actually get to it XD
Well void. This is basically what March looked like for me. A long scramble to delicately fill in and accent every detail. But, hey, I finished it.
On to the next one. It's plants and lady bugs this month.
