◤ WAYS TO SAY I LOVE YOU GOODBYE.┊not accepting. @defectorepart ii. [i. iii.]
“I know.” Spoken with a smile, Yang closes the small gap between herself and Blake, quite blind to the others that stand around them. It’s the first time they’ve done this so intimately with other people nearby (though Yang’s sure Weiss is both looking away respectfully and also forcing Ruby to do the same), but it doesn’t make Yang nervous. All that matters to her is Blake, a hair’s breadth away from her, and how ODD it feels to be the one leaving this time. Her left hand rises, cupping Blake’s jaw and thumbing her cheek.
“I’m gonna miss you a whole lot.” She says, and she finally steals a kiss. Just one, a small peck. It’s only the first one, though. “But I’ll be thinking of you.” There goes the second one, and this one lingers. Yang knows the more she does this, the more she’ll want to STAY, so she has to part. She takes a breath, eyes pressing shut like it physically pains her to let go.
It’s not enough, though. She can’t go. Not yet, not before – the REAL kiss, the one where she flings her arms all the way around Blake’s waist, and pulls her so close a fly couldn’t squeeze between them. They’ve done a lot of making up for lost time but this one’s gotta cover the FUTURE too, and it feels like no number of kisses will ever be enough. It’s harder to part when she finally does, but Yang does.
It’s for the greater good, after all.
“I’ll be back before you know it.”

6. your view of mary/gary stues?
we all start somewhere. even if you consider a ‘flawless’, perfect character to be bad writing, it’s someone else’s choice to create them. let soandso have raven darkness with the longest black hair and all the boys. it all boils down to the fact this is a hobby, it’s someone else’s blog/time/creation, and unless you want to pursue a professional writing career there’s no reason to take peoples criticism to heart. it’s just for fun.
12. your opinion on giving characters mental illnesses?
i’m for it, as long as the mun in question does their homework. mental illness is very real and there are very real results of having one. one of my best friends is studying in the psychological field, specifically in the lgbt community, and has written some pretty amazingly in depth and respectful mental illnesses in his muses. but he’s also incredibly aware they aren’t there to give his muses ‘edge’ or a ‘sad backstory.’ they’re very real results of very real circumstances in the character’s life. so yea just, don’t give your muse one like a new puppy.
be consistent. be respectful. do your homework.
20. wild card!
ok i’m going to say this in the hopes most of my followers are adults/adult in attitude and can understand what i mean but. don’t let? people censor your writing? i know there are certain topics that many find hard to discuss but as long as, like above, you’re respectful, tag things, are clear with your partner, and handle harder topics with care, you can write whatever you want to write. think if we tried to censor stephen king because his themes were ‘too dark.’ expand your options. get out of your comfort zone, and write.
