A Gunpowder Milkshake X-mas photo story

Madeleine: I know we never really celebrate any holidays, but we should do something for little Samantha! Scarlet said Sam and her father used to celebrate Christmas together, with gifts and decorations and baking cookies and all, we should help her keep the tradition alive!

Florence: well, maybe... But we can't really celebrate all together for too long, someone has to man the library

Anna May: and what if it just reminds her that her dad's dead? We don't need a crying kid on our hands

Florence: just a few gifts then? Or something a bit different from what they used to do, but still Christmas-y?

Madeleine: both! We'll all give her some nice gifts, and we do something together! You could take out your camera, Anna, and Florence you have some nice pictures in your room for a background, and of course I still have a lot of pretty things we can use for a proper photo booth...

Florence & Anna May: *instant regret*

Florence: ...I guess as long as you don't burn down the building trying to bake cookies we should be grateful, huh?

Samantha: mommy what's going on? Why does Auntie Florence look like she has a toothache?

Scarlet: *trying not to laugh* Florence is excited for your surprise is all, she can't wait to show you!

Madeleine (of course already wearing the biggest and brightest props, though she'd hand them over to Sam in a heartbeat): Happy Christmas!!!

Madeleine: we made a photo booth for you! Anna can't stay very long as she needs to go back downstairs to the library, but the rest of us can take pictures of you for as long as you like!

Samantha: *is shy* umm can I have this one? If mommy is wearing the other?

Scarlet: sure, come here let's take a picture for your photo albums

Samantha: I need pictures of everyone else too for a page in the album.

Scarlet: yeah, come on Florence, Anna May, be festive!

Madeleine: *hands out a halo and a santa hat*

Florence: *snatches up the bonnet as the lesser evil*

Madeleine: alright say cheese!

Samantha: you've got to really smile!!!

Florence: *carefully doesn't mention that Sam, who doesn't like to show her braces, isn't exactly grinning in her picture either*

Madeleine: wonderful! This will make a great page in your album, Samantha!

Madeleine: oh, and Anna May, if you're wearing the halo, here are also wings, come on, put them on, let me take a picture before you have to go! ...Aww, you really look cute in it!

Florence: *instantly jealous* I could wear the wings too...

Madeleine: *sees through her immediately* your santa bonnet is also very cute, Flo *kisses her cheek* don't worry.

Florence: *stops pouting and preens* *won't take off the santa hat all day now*

Samantha: *giggles* you guys are silly!

Florence: careful there, we haven't given you your presents yet!

Samantha: *turns to Scarlet* you'd get my presents for me mommy if Auntie Flo is being a meanie, right?

Scarlet: *winks* definitely, baby girl. Definitely.

For reasons including but not limited to tumblr's recent bullshittery with post+, we thought it would be nice to move the fandom, from where it's only on tumblr, to create a little community on a discord server!

This will be a space to talk about all the female characters, and you will be able to select separate access for ship channels such as:

No trolls, no assholes!

This won't be an open server (meaning you'll need to send an ask for mods to decide whether or not to send you an invite link), so people acting in bad faith won't be able to access it - and if you look at some of the movie reviews of hurt male egos, you'll know that that's a real danger here.

The server will be a positive femslash-only, LGBT+ friendly, anti-racism, anti-Terf, liberal, pro-darkfic (as long as it is all fictional - no rpf please!) space - if you disagree with any of this, please don't even bother!

This is an 18+ Server! If we get enough requests + people willing to mod that section, we might make sfw-only channels (so do also send an ask if you'd be interested in that!), but so far to access the server you need to be an adult willing to face explicit content.
