GIF MAKER POSITIVITY MEME (#gmpmeme2021)

hey all! in celebration of my two year gif-iversary, i decided to bring back the most popular piece of last year’s celebration! the Gif Maker Positivity Meme part 2: Electric Boogaloo will officially take place this year from May 24th to May 30th!!! please reblog this post to spread the word.

this is a one-week gif challenge meant to inspire gif makers to experiment, grow, and get outside of their comfort zones. each day of the week features a new prompt designed to get you thinking creatively! i encourage you all to have fun with this, gif things that you’re excited about, and support each other! remember to tag all of your gifsets with #gmpmeme2021, and track the tag to find and reblog other people’s creations!

if you aren’t able to participate during the official week (or if you missed it), don’t worry! you are free to do the prompts whenever! you can do them in order, skip some, add some, or mix it up if you want! let’s get creative!

post a gif “set” with only one gif in it! (May 26th)

day 4: personality quiz

take this mini quiz, then make a gifset based on your results! (May 27th)

day 5: style swap

take inspiration from another creator! make a gifset in the style of a gif maker you admire! and remember to tag them in your caption! (May 28th)

day 6: ootd

make a gifset using the colors, textures, or patterns of the outfit you wear the most! (May 29th)

day 7: experiment

post a creative gifset that you had fun making! maybe try out a new layout, a technique you’ve learned recently, or combine effects in a way that you haven’t before! (May 30th)

posting a gifset each day of the week can be challenging, so i recommend starting early on these prompts if you can. i can’t wait to see your creations! happy giffing everyone!
