For a second, my tiny gay heart thought they were gonna kiss in the flu scene...
We’ve all been there. I’ve seen Rilaya shippers all up and down the tag saying they looked they were about to kiss at a lot of different points. My moment was in 1x20.
Maya: Thanks for being there for me.Riley: Hey, I’m sure you’ll make it up to me some time.Maya: *grabs Riley’s arm, looks into her eyes* How about now?
And for just a second I forgot about 1x01 and the obvious callback that was happening. I forgot that Lucas was even there. I thought she was about to kiss Riley and then offer to take her out on a real first date. It was a glorious second.
