Lyney-

Lyney had always been into you since he first met you. Him and his siblings were caught under the rain and you happily let them into your home which they were all thankful for.

Lyney fell in love with your kind but yet serious nature. He would always tease you but that was just his way to hide his true feelings for you. But for all this time those dark thoughts in his mind were eating at him, Do you love him like he loves you?

Yet he never lets it weigh on him for now all he can do is enjoy his time with you. But all came crashing down when the traveler came to Fontaine. He hated seeing how you two would interact the way you two would talk to each other like you knew him/her longer than how you've known him, his heart was hurting.

He tried to up in antics of winning your heart and attention away from the traveler but he can tell the traveler had you wrapped around his/her finger.

Lyney had always hopped that deep down you may have the same feelings for him but when you found out he was part of the fatui he can see the hatred and disappointment in your eyes. Maybe then he realized you never loved him and that all you had was a great friendship, key word had.

He had let go of his feelings for you now seeing you as an enemy he hoped one day you two can be friends again but he knew you two will never be more than that, not like he cares anymore.

Diluc-

You had always had feelings for the current owner of Dawn Winery and the man who ran the tavern Angles Share. To you he was a sweet gentleman but recently it's been dawning on you that you may never get with Duluc but that was gonna change as today you will ask him out.

You kept telling him that for a week but he would always push you aside or make up an excuse. For the week you understood as an owner he could be a busy man but when you asked for his time Diluc said he would be busy and wanting to go home and you nodded saying you understand.

But before you can leave you can see his expression on his face not one of anger just annoyance and that when it hit you, you never had his heart in the first place. To you it was funny how some rain was now falling and you just walked left while the rain drenched your clothes.

You stopped coming around the Angels Share as you didn't want to see the man you once loved. You were looking through some shops till you heard someone called out your name. You looked to see Kaeya come up to you with a sweet smile.

He asked why he hasn't seen you at the Tavern lately and you answered saying how you felt sick because of the storm/rain for awhile ago. He nodded and started to talk with you more as you both ended up spending the whole day together making you forget your self pity over Diluc.

You ended up going back to Angles Share but this time not hovering over Diluc you let yourself not be a lost puppy character but let yourself branch out. You were making jokes with Kaeya and talking with Rosaria while hearing Ventis songs. Yours and Dilucs relationship did expand more and everyone can tell that Diluc was changes around you.

Sadly now you can only see Diluc as a friend and it's weird how Kaeya was returning some affection you gave him and you soon found yourself smitten for someone else now. Maybe now Diluc can understand what he lost when he saw you two share a drink one night while holding hands, he knew he was too late now.

Notes: Usage of pet names and (Y/N). This might be a bit depressing. I will write some fluff as an apology to Tighnari…

‘Everything is locked, the others are busy, I won’t be disturbed.’ If his schedule is not as busy, Tighnari will tell the others that he’s taking a break; but in reality, he’s going to his home and visit his dead spouse. Ever since he found an unknown mushroom that can allow him to visit his spouse via a hallucination, he’s been consuming them as an unhealthy way to cope. The other Forest Watchers and Rangers thought that he was getting better, that he was moving past his grief…If only they knew the truth.

“I just need to see them again, then I’ll stop…” Tighnari mumbled under his breath; that’s what he says every time he does this. Every time he does this he eats a small piece of a mushroom; if he eats the entire thing, then well we’d have a repeat of last time… “Breathe in, breathe out. You can do this Tighnari, just say your goodbyes; tell them that you’re sorry that you couldn't save them, tell them that you miss them every day, tell them that you’re counting down the days till you’ll see them again…” Tighnari says with a confident tone. To tell you the truth he’s been saying that every time before he sees them; but when he actually sees them, he instinctively greets them like if it was any other normal day. 

“Good morning Tighnari! I got up early to cook up your favorite! Forest Watcher’s choice, along with some eggs and steak. Can’t go to work just eating mushrooms! Hmm? Tighnari darling, are you okay?”  (Y/N) says while holding a plate of mushrooms, eggs, and steak. Tighnari grabbed the plate and put it on the nightstand next to him and grabbed (Y/N)’s hands; he pulled them down onto the bed and plasters kisses all over their face. “Hmm? Oh, nothings wrong just wondering how lucky I am to have you as my spouse.” Tighnari that tickles!” (Y/N) chuckles. For a moment it was peaceful…until “Tighnari I was wondering if I should take a walk into Avidya Forest, what do you think?” Upon hearing those words he responds “No! I mean…” Tighnari’s heart rate sped up, his breathing hitched, tears forming in his eyes. “Please let me accompany you. It could be dangerous y’know, with all of the withering zones.” “But don’t you have work-” “The others will be fine, they’ll understand. I want to spend time with you!” Tighnari’s nightmare almost came true. He couldn’t stand to lose you here. He’ll do anything to keep you safe. “Well… How about we go on a walk and collect flowers and herbs, ok? I think you're running low on medicinal herbs, and I guess I could make some time with my lovely husband.” (Y/N) says the last part with a playful tone. Tighnari’s heart skipped a beat when he saw their face. If you look closely you could see hearts in his eyes, a lovesick grin etched on his face. “I love you, I love you so so much (Y/N), I don’t think there’s a word to express my feelings for you; devoted, infatuated, besotted, enamored, smitten, and even head over heels! All of those words can’t even compare to my love for you… Let’s get married!” Haha! You silly fox, we’re already married-” “Then let’s renew our vows!” Collei can be the flower girl, we can invite Cyno, Alhaitham, and Kaveh, and of course the other Forest Watchers and Forest Rangers, oh! And my parents, and Can’t forget about the Traveler and Paimon-” “Um who’s the Traveler, and Paimon?” Tighnari’s breath hitched, ‘that’s right…they’re gone.’

Tighnari’s eyes open to a portrait of their wedding day. The mushrooms’ effect must’ve worn off. He blinked a couple times to regain his senses. “What time is it?” “Master Tighnari, are you in there?” Collei asked while knocking on the door. “Um, yeah, uh yes sorry about that, I was… reading a book, must’ve lost track of time. I’ll be right outside, just give me a couple of minutes.” He responds while cleaning the tears from his eyes. “Okay, I’ll be in the medical bay, some random adventurer ate a poisonous mushroom.” Collei yelled through the door. Tighnari waited till Collei’s footsteps got quieter and quieter. “I’ll say goodbye next time. I promise…”
