Chanyeol likes to think that he’s funny, which was why he sent his friends random gifts sometimes. Or gifts that he found amusing, and knew that they would as well. A lot of the things he gave represented an inside joke that he had with that person, or it was simply something he found silly, and only hoped they would understand.

He finds Myungsoo settled in the cafeteria one afternoon, a bright smile on his face. “Merry Christmas, Myungsoo!” He chimes, handing him the gift bag that contained a present along with a card that read Draw me like one of your French girls. ;)

Myungsoo had a rather chill sense of humor, so once he was back at the school, he was wearing one of the Christmas sweaters that his mom gave him for Christmas and just chilling in the cafeteria, eating noodles as usual. He looked around and seeing Chanyeol walk over, he grinned and waved. "Hey!" he exclaimed.

"Merry Christmas to you, Yeollie," he said, grinning. He opened the gift bag and laughed out loud. This was genius. A bear and a quote from one his fave movies. "I LOVE IT." he said, hugging Chanyeol. He settled back. "I have your gift in my room," he said.

Chanyeol had left his presents to Kyungsoo inside his friend’s room for him to see when he got home. As much as he had wanted to be there to see Kyungsoo’s reaction to the gifts, Chanyeol had a plane to catch the next day and didn’t want to lose any sleep.

And so, he left the wrapped gift on his bed, with a little card that read Merry Christmas, Kyungsoo. Use them wisely. ;) He also left a giant stuffed teddy for his friend to find, hoping that it would make up for the smaller gift.

When Kyungsoo entered the room, the first thing that caught his eye was the new giant Pororo stuffed toy in the middle of his bed. He knew it was new because he didn’t buy anything Pororo related yet and because it was Pororo, he was quick to throw himself on the giant stuffed toy, the two of them toppling over the bed and he squealed because now he has two giant Pororos.

Still on the toy, his eyes caught sight of a smaller box. Sitting up he read the card and chuckled, mentally thanking Chanyeol for the Pororo before opening the wrapped up box, curious of what was inside. Kyungsoo was greeted by pink, fluffy pink and his face automatically turned ten shades of red as he hurriedly took the handcuffs and stuffed it in the box way under all his clothes in his closet and slamming it closed again. He buries himself under his Pororos stuffed toys to calm his heart rate before typing up a quick text to Chanyeol.

He’s definitely going to kill him when he returns – probably.

C is for cookie

They burnt the first batch of cookies, Key had turned his back for just a second to check his phone, Chanyeol had been passionately stirring the bowl full of mixture with a stupid grin on his face, and neither of them noticed the smoke. 

"Oh my god, Chanyeol they’re burning!" Key shrieked, light brown eyes blown wide as he ran back over to the oven, yanking the door open. The heat hit him instantly and he was pretty sure the ends of his blonde hair were singed slightly. 

The cookies were misshapen, ugly - and now burnt around the edges. 

"It’s okay, we can just put this on them." Chanyeol piped up, still mixing the bowl of some sort of chocolate frosting. Key grimaced, no one in the uni was going to want to eat these mouthful full of diabetes disasters. He had no brighter ideas on how to salvage them though, and he sat himself up on the work top, knee high socked legs swinging as he watched Chanyeol work his ‘magic’. 

He slathered the biscuits in the chocolate mess and Key’s look of bewilderment was not an exaggeration. “Chanyeol… that looks like someone took a shit on the plate.” He laughed, snatching the bowl from him and grabbing the spoon, smacking him around the face with it an wiping it down the side of the taller boys cheek, smearing chocolate all over his face.
